Website says
Wakefield Wildcats can this week confirm Steve Snitch will return to Belle Vue for the 2009 Super League XIV season.
Snitch started his professional career at Wakefield in 2002 before making the move to Huddersfield giants in 2006.
Even at the young age of 24, Snitch has made over 120 Super League appearances and with the ability to play second-row or prop forward, he will add plenty of versatility and power to the Wildcats line.
Snitch will remain at Belle Vue for the next two years and Head Coach John Kear is looking forward to having him on board:
“Steve is another great addition to our squad and will add strength in depth. He’s got plenty of experience playing Super League and we’re looking forward to having him at the club.”

Wakefield Wildcats forward Kyle Bibb has agreed a two-year extension to his current contract; keeping him at Belle Vue until 2010.
Bibb made his Super League debut this year and went onto make nine more appearances including two in the Carnegie Challenge Cup; where he scored two tries for the club in the win over Barrow.
The 20 year old prop-forward joined Wakefield in 2007 from Hull FC and has made great progress while full-time.
Interest was expressed from a number of other Super League clubs but the Wildcats have managed to secure his signature ahead of Super League XIV.
Head Coach and Football Director John Kear said: “Kyle’s progressed immensely this year, getting a number of first team games under his belt and he really stood up to the challenge.
“He has great potential and to secure him for another two years is excellent news for the club.”

Good or bad?

Alot of Tigers fans (myself included) thought Bibb was Jungle-bound for 2009.

What is happening with Brett Ferres? I have heard he is wanting a new club.

Any news on Kyle Wood yet because I have heard that we have moved in for him and this is why he is stalling on a new deal with Wakey ??

Also does this pave Brett Ferres exit from Belle Vue another name we in for so I have heard and he is a cas lad too.

I had also heard Wakey were in for James Stosic one of our targets any truth in that, that you are aware of obviously ???

Owen - I think Brett Ferres is a Glasshoughton lad. He would be a better signing than Bibb IMO.

Brett Ferres is currently the better signing for start of season - already a higher level player, but I would not be upset to have either player in my squad were I a coach - I think Bibb has proved that he is an excellent prospect - however Ferres is already an excellent player

For Cas fans I would love it if you signed Ferres. In all honesty he brings nothing at all in means of attack to a team. He defence is ok but nothing special.
He would not be a player that would improve your squad at all. Therefore I would love it if he left.
Keeping Bibb is brilliant he has the size and speed to become a really good forward. Definately one for the future.

I would be happy if we signed Feres could be a story of a player not settled hence the poor displays

He was a very good player at Bradford cant see why he would all of a sudden be such a bad player maybe never settled into Belle Vue
