Good news(I hope!).It knocks Carey down the pecking order and hopefully minimises his influence.Darracott played at the top level and hopefully will bring a bit of knowledge to the club

bit dissapointed by appointment but then again dont know much about the name apart from he used to play for wrexham many moons ago.

Darracott always gave 110% as an Everton player and at Wrexham. Dean Saunders was the same. They will expect nothing less from the players currently at the club, and any future signings.
The future sure looks brighter than it did two weeks ago. Lets all get behind the club and all concerned with WFC.

your signings have lifted the gloom that surrounded the club,a 1st class manager and an assistant who takes crap from no one,i hope you get promotion but unfortunately i think port vale will pass you on the way down.

Is Carey's title still Assistant Manager or has he been demoted yet again?How come he is such a great survivor even better than Juan Ugarte was?Has he got some kind of hold on Mo$$?Why wasn't he got ris of with Little and Foyle especially as we were told at the time that Brian Little wanted him as Assistant Manager as they had worked together at Leicester.Hopefully as Deano wants winners and Carey(how were we able to create a jonb for him in the first place when we were subject to administration??)and Pejic Junior,the accident waiting to happen,will quickly be shown the door.
Darracott was a winner during his time here and played when Wrexham were at their highest league placing ever near the top of Div 2 in 79/80.After he got injured the downward trend started.He had lots of spirit and fight and enthusiasm.Lets hope its still there!

Darracot was certainly a hard man, but by the time he played at Wrexham he was well past his best.
Does he have any Managerial experience?
I remain to be convinced, but happy we have seen the back of Little and Foyle.
