Hammerking91 (U8226579) posted Oct 5, 2008 i cannot understnad how people say bolton were the better team, they were not from start to finish west ham looked like they wanted to win and were trying to score and this is what annoys me about bolton, they always play wil 10 men behind the ball, i hate that style of football, and yes it has won them the game but im so happy that it looks like we are starting to try and play attacking, to the feet football, coz bolton must be one of the most boring teams to watch, no wonder their home stadium is always half empty.

KevinDaviesIsMyBodyGuard (U9092775) posted Oct 5, 2008 bolton dont belong in the prem? does that have anything to do with half the squad being english (all the goalscorers today), a local chairman, a semi local manager, and an english owner? apart from those reasons, botlon are one of the 20 best teams in england, so deserve to be in the prem

RememberScarborough (U1754296) posted Oct 5, 2008 Maybe the spammers believe that all teams outside their "glorious capital" should be in the lower leagues. It's always fun beating cockneys because their superiority complexes take such a "hammering" they end up looking like a confused Jade Goodey.

phillyboyhammer (U6723354) posted Oct 6, 2008 Fair enough, Bolton turned us over. Came and did a job that if we were prepared to do the same the game would have been a completely boring spectable. Both clubs have different footballing philosophies. Without fueling any further animosity Bolton are known for a certain style of football that makes it difficult for even the top four to beat. Although Arsenal dispatched them quite efficiently a couple of weeks back. We were a little light weight up front Saturday and lacked the fluidity to do the same. Early day's under Zola and I expect this will change. They were also gifted two goals (poor Robert probably lived in fear of conceding another poor goal like he did in the same fixture last season. That being said I found Bolton's style a lot more positive in their forward play Saturday so maybe Megson is changing their approach to suit his own style. Under Alderdyce it was almost like putting up a net across the middle of the park and have the two teams play volleyball. I used to get a creek in my neck watching them play. Soccer akin to basket ball and the Harlem globe Bolton Wanderer trotters. Comment on this article
