Live - Sunday's Premier League

Premier League
comment on the article

You know, after yesterday's lively scenes, I was worried some of you wouldn't be back. Too good to miss isn't it, this Premier League of ours?

What a day this should be, I hardly even know where to begin. West Ham and Bolton kick us off, then we've got Chelsea-Villa, Man City-Liverpool, Portsmouth-Stoke and Spurs-Hull.

Last but not least, struggling Everton host Newcastle and their all-guns-blazing new manager Joe Kinnear at Goodison Park.

I don't really need to sell it to you at all, do I? Enjoy.

"They should install a revolving door at White Flag Lane"

No Hart Lane....White Hart Lame....Blight Hart Lane...Tottenham Hotspurned....there have been a few going around...

"1559: "I just don't understand Liverpool's inconsistency. Bring Babel and Keane on, get Kuyt off. He is shocking.

Love It !!"

Yeah, goes to show how one should refrain from speaking too soon! He did have a point, though.

P.s. I rate the CL much higher in terms of what it means to me. Truly a bringing together of most of the best teams in the world and to me rafa will always have my undying loyalty to the man giving us our CL when no one else gave us a chance.

WHilst I said that we will not win the prem this year let me add that I do believe we have a strong chance in the cl. We can win it for sure. To me a much greater achievement. I love the cl.

But it is a new dawn for us in the prem. WE WILL run chelsea close but it will be chelsea who will win it.

I'm finding it interesting to see a top four team with a goal difference of minus 1. I have nothing against Hull nor disrespect. I'm simply finding it odd/different. Good job, PhilB.

Newcastle produced a brave display against Everton and I think they must built on that and resume the campagin from that point.

............
Truly pointless statement, I think Hull would love to stay in the league with 40 points and -59 goal difference.

Is it just me, or is Alonso always targeted by nasty tackles?

And another point. At the risk of sounding mean (and in bad taste), Skrtel should not have been on the pitch when he got injured.

That tackle on Jo was shocking!

Karma at work...?
