Australia - In Trouble??

International Tests Australia

This is not looking good for the Aussies.
Getting a drabbing from an India 'seconds' team!
And the biggest problem, it seems, is spin.
Not only are our batters having problems facing it, we don't have any real 'spin bowlers' - besides a couple of part-timers, and un-capped players who haven't exactly set the world on fire playing state cricket!
So what is the plan now? Play somebody like cameron white, who, in my book, is a batter who can bowl a bit (another part-timer)? or does somebodyelse come to mind? now that mcgain and hogg are gone, the well is dry as far as spinners go!
India have Harbejarn, kumble, ...and i wouldn't even be surprised if chawla plays, ....and australia have NO spinners!!
So what's the plan? I think the only plan is PACE. Fast bowling from lee and johnson is what we need to win games for us during this series. clark's performance was promising today, and lets hope he bowls just like pidg would have in the coming games.

I could well be hitting the panic stations a bit too early here, but i don't like the way australia are looking right now, and feel that if they don't pull a few rabbits out of their hats, they could have their noses rubbed in it by india this series.

Thoughts?

haha shiva shiva shiva.

Well in the last year Tendulkar and ganguly were the 2 of the top scorers for India with decent avgs. other people including yuvraj etc apart from 1 match didnt do much. check the link

sehwag is of course good as we know. whether counted in oldies younger ones or neither. and just few matches before was dropped for not performing

I am a fan of Gambhir. But that is no means to abuse the fab four like you do. If you want to compare previous records, check the fab four's records too.

You flip flop everyday on every cricketer depending on your mood. You pick a fav cricketer on a day. You wum on the rest of the cricketers that day. You have no consistency on your thoughts, just like in your life. It is because you spend 24 hours on internet, get a life!

Good points, cricketfan....

You present your arguments in an adult way, unlike Snake, who still resorts to his childish habit of insulting posters with whom he cannot agree.
erm
Given that Snake is still incapable of coming up with a logical discussion, let's look at the points made by cricketfan....

From 14 matches over the past year, Ganguly has a Test average of 45. However, I prefer to look at Ganguly's average over the past three series - against Sri Lanka, Australia and South Africa. Against these three strong sides, Ganguly averages only 30, with four half-centuries and no tons from 19 innings.

So, Ganguly bolstered his average with good scores against a weak Pakistani attack in the series prior to those three....

My point is that players like Ganguly are not as good as they used to be.

My point is you wum one day on Sachin. You wum on Ganguly the next day. Today you are wumming on Dravid. Laxman is next. I will show proofs of the same.

Australia series toppers are Sehwag, Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguly. your young brigade yuvraj and dhoni are at the bottom of the table http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/records/batting/most_runs_career.html?id=3163;type=series

series vs SA. again it is Sehwag, Ganguly, Dravid, Laxman. yuvraj and dhoni are nowhere. http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/records/batting/most_runs_career.html?id=4149;type=series

you told in pak series ganguly was on top. I don't need to search that one.

If I go and find about every series, the stats will show the same, what I am talking about.

Basically you don't and can't present the facts. Be it cricket or in real life. You misrepresent, distort, twist, flip flop, wum and rant. Like I said, get a life! You don't control what we say here like on your monarchy.

The correct way to reply to you is that. You won't listen if people are well behaved. I am the snakecharmer, you are the snake. I had tons of experience with you.

That's what you did. I proved to you many times that you falsify information, be it cricket or other things. Can you prove that I wum or falsify info? you cannot. Then, why did you ban me? There is no reason other than you are a prevert.

"Then, why did you ban me? "

Surely, the way you're behaving now on 606 is a good enough reason for you being a persona non grata!
laugh
We operate a wum-free zone, i.e. posters like you....

Snake in the grass, you need to learn how to discuss issues like the performance of the Fab Four by churning out statistics, not insults.

I am not snake in the grass, my posts are for everyone to see. You are the snake in the grass, you are the sheep skin. I don't insult anyone else. I have no issues with any other members. Can you say the same? On the contrary, you know with how many members you fight. How many names, forums you change and what biases you have.

You are the one who behave like a snake. You behave as if you are nice , smooth wumming. All you do is you abuse your authority. We know your hidden stupidity.

Now run. run

YOur posts are so childish and infantile that I wonder at your age, snake in the grass....

I hardly think it's an abuse of authority to ban wums like you.
winkeye
By your behaviour on this board, I think most posters can see why you're a persona non grata.
