It's here and for the second time in two seasons it's our name on the trophy.

I couldn't get a ticket for the game and for those of you who were lucky enough to go....hats off to you; great voices and never stopped singing all night.

Lee Smith put in the best full-back performance i have ever seen in a Grand Final; the kid just didn't do anything wrong and everything went his way. Definately one for the future.

I just wish Sky had managed to get Johnny Vegas back on after the match, and that cocky fat lass from the St Helens chip shop, who seemed so confident before kick off. Victory is sweet enough without 'em though smiley

St Helens are they underachievers? 1 win from 4 table topping years, is not really good enough is it.

St. Helens are the Gloucester of Rugby Union (or yawnion as most league fans call the sport).

Is it really that bad? i don't think it is but it's no where near as exciting as league.

The £300 fine dished out to Smith for his disgraceful face stamp on Bailey in the semi's looks like peanuts after last night's performance. What's the point in citing players etc. if the review board don't have the backbone to dish out the correct punishment? So what if he missed the final, if that happened in the street he would have been looking at 6 months in the slammer!

Clearly Bruce does not only not know best, he knows little at all!

The disciplinary panel meted out the same punshiment to Smith as was handed to Mathers after he kicked Burrow in the face while dead-fishing in the tackle.

No card, no bin, no bad, just on report and a £300 fine.

Get over it!

Get over what? I'm just an outsider looking in. I actually live 5 mins from Headingley so am not anti-Rhinos by a long stretch (apart from not being able to park on matchdays!). If what you say about Mather's is true then that is a disgrace also. Both should have been banned for at least a few games.

I enjoy a bit of RL and have no complaints about a few punches being thrown, but to rake your studs down someones face and basically get away with it is just not on!

Couldn't believe it when Phil Clarke said Saints are one of the fairest & most entertaining teams in SL. For starters, they have to be masters of the forward pass. Also thought it said it all when, during the match after saints scored, Eddie Hemmings said 'maybe now WE are in with a chance'. Laugh... I nearly spilled my beer. WELL DONE LEEDS, your game plan was spot on.

As the song goes

" Thats why we're champions, thats whty we're champions!!"

Its so funny how the current champions and world club cup winners are labelled as under dogs, then when we wipe the floor with Saints again, its labelled as an upset!!??

These people on Sky keep saying how great this Saints side is, when are they goin start realising that Leeds are the best team in the land?

If anybody wants to argue with that fact - just watch the highlights on BBC iplayer of saturday night.

I'm a Rhinos fan, and delighted to see us win it AGAIN.

But, and despite all the plaudits for the way Leeds controlled the Saints attack, it was all too much like watching the Bulls, dour defence, allied to a kicking game.

Would I have rather seen us lose 36-38 in a try fest?...No, but please don't play like that all the time Leeds.
