Wll done tigers. Part from a couple of mistakes we were brilliant. Hougaard marshalled the troops well and the youngster played well. Anyone who was at the game today who was Tigers captain and did Seb Pearson really kick a penalty?

Thought the leicester 10 was the difference today but it was Bath who played all the running rugby, Varndell didnt touch the ball all day.

Yet again with a better kicker Bath would have been out of sight and despite the loss Bath probably got a little more out of the game looking at a whole host of very young players.

Toulouse next weekend will be a different proposition !

Not trying to be funny or argumentative, but it sounded like we tried to play better rugby, plus we outscored you two to one. Think your experience at fly half plus the conditions were probably what won it for you. I also remember Griffiths and Jackson dropping the ball a lot in the Middlesez sevens, not sure if it was them again today but it did seem like we made a lot of errors, result of our style of play I guess though

And topping the premiership.

The EDF is worth having only to give the senior players a break and give the youngsters a go.

Does anybody really take it seriously?

EDF is one of the major 3 tournaments, the least important yes, but its still the first opportunity to bag some silverware in the season and a team that wins it can then probably call that season a succesful one.

You mean how the Ospreys were successful last season?

Surely the better rugby is the style that gets you the victory? Being flashy and expansive is great but if you don't convert it into points then it is worthless. If your making mistakes and giving away penalties then your going to pay the price in kicked points so tries aren't a definitive way to tell who was the better team.

Good to see the Tigers youngsters doing the club proud. Ben Youngs surely has a big future at the club and for his country and its good to see he got a try yesterday.

So the youngsters in the Leicester side - seven by my count - they don't count then? The fact is this was two experimental teams with both cubs selecting a number of their upcoming youngsters and a close game resulting. Shall we have some balance?
