Live - Saturday's Premier League

Premier League
comment on the article

We spoil you a bit, don't we? I mean as if three sizzling European nights weren't enough, we're straight back into the Premier League melting pot today.

And what a melting pot it is, too. With six games taking place tomorrow, the spolight falls on two of the 'Big Four' and some interesting games.

Roy Keane's Sunderland host potential leaders Arsenal, while later, Sir Alex Ferguson and his former skipper Paul Ince go head-to-head as managers for the first time with Blackburn hosting Manchester United.

The two other 1500 BST games see West Brom entertain Fulham and Wigan - complete with in-form strike duo Amr Zaki and Emile Heskey - take on Middlesbrough.

Get the beers in, get the heating on and join the party.

For Darren Bent to be your highest goal scorer, I'm not surprised that Spurs are finding it hard to score, let alone win games. Darren Bent is a proven Championship level goal scorer, not a Premiership class striker. Maybe when Spurs get relegated he might start scoring goals in abundance. But for now, he's crap. And I'm being nice. He's the most talentless, overhyped English player out of all the overhyped English players (and there are quite a few). In my opinion, he represents the worst piece of business any club have done in the recent past. Minus Nugent of course, anyone?biggrin

So Green made a howler.

James is a past master of the howler.

Carson made a gem against Croatia at Wembley.

Robinson perfected "air kicks".

Even Seaman was beaten from the half-way line in Uefa Cup final.

So it would appear that Green is well qualified to be an England keeper. winkeye

Terrible from Liverpool, nobody has any pace or skill on the ball.
The only player who is looking half decent is Riera and I have to say what has Rafa created here, it certaintly isnt fast and furious.

My goodness, Hull City could be 3rd in the Premier League in a short while. I wonder what odds the bookies would have given for that a year ago.
