Nigol66 (U10726800) posted Oct 4, 2008 John Alridge did alot for the club as a player BUT we don't need him now. We don't need negagtive comments like this that hold little or no concern. I live in the USA and every day on the news we are bombarded with this money crisis and debt. The new owners are rightfully concerned and cautious.

mmarkanthony (U13495489) posted Oct 5, 2008 The problem with all this Share LFC stuff is the calibre of people taking it forwards. I registered my interest because I wanted to know more, but since then they have brought clowns like aldridge on board. He is completely ignoring the global economic situation, and talks about how liverpool are doing okay at the moment, and how they have had some recent success in europe. The joker also talks about clinging on to 3rd or 4th at a time when the coaching and playing staff clearly have the capability to be pushing for 1st or a close 2nd. As much as hicks and gilette fail to respect the history of the club, the Moore's finances would not have stretched to Torres, Mascherano and Keane so we should respect that. Barry was clearly overvalued and Rierra adds Barry's balance but more width at half the price - we should respect that too. As for doing business behind closed doors, he criticises the owners for their public debates and then participates in a pathetic interview like this - sniping to maintain the momentum of all of those media lead half-wit stories of the past couple of years instead of looking forwards.

Danwaah (U7025075) posted Oct 5, 2008 As much as I would like to see G&H sell to stabilise LFC financially, the finger is pointing at the wrong two people. The only two people responsible for this mess are Moores and Parry (Parry probably more so) whose only concern over the sale was to feather their own nest. With DIC in charge Moores wouldn't have his place on the board and Parry would have been sacked a year ago. OK so the yanks haven't done everything they said, but if Moores had forked out for the signings of Torres, Mascherano and Keane people would be thanking him. Most of the issues between Rafa and the owners is down to Parry as well, they just don't get on, but Parry has the ear of Gilette so there you go. I firmly believe with the economic downturn in the US that Sheikh Mo will own the club by the end of Jan 09, with the personal fortune to ride out the economic downturn.

red-eye (U1803614) posted Oct 6, 2008 agree with aldridge. it's disgraceful that a club like Liverpool have waited this long for a new stadium. OK Anfield has it's history, but times require a larger stadium.
