He also came on as a sub in another league game, against Motherwell. He finished the season by scoring the equaliser in the Scottish Cup Final, also against Celtic.

Three goals in four minutes against Arbroath at Gayfield, another hat-trick the following Saturday on his home debut against his former club, Hibernian and another two the following Wednesday in a Fairs' Cup match against Dundalk.

SquareGoat (U11599187) posted Oct 2, 2008 Most exciting debut I've ever seen was Cristiano Ronaldo without a doubt. I've never seen anyone bamboozle a defence so much whenever he got the ball. I hadn't seen anybody bursting with skill so much and able to show it off so effortlessly.

doyles_left_foot (U9588197) posted Oct 7, 2008 Robbie Keane for Coventry. 19 years old, £6million most expensive teenager ever at the time and then justified it with 2 against Derby (when they were reasonably good)
