liverbnz (U10290601) posted Oct 1, 2008 I wish people would stop spouting the old 'big 4 get away with everything' line. Whenever one of them do anything, it is highlighted and gone over and over again. Could you imagine if Ronaldo or Drogba had kicked out like Guthrie the other week, we would be hearing about it until the middle of next year. Cahill gets away with quite a lot of tackles himself, as well as a lot of mouthing off.

robbieryan1 (U11984720) posted Oct 1, 2008 Can I ask why the slating of Mike Riley? Surely if Cahill hadnt gone through on Alonso, clumsy late and potentially dangerous he would not have had to reach for his pocket. posted Oct 1, 2008 "Your right the tackle was no more than a booking, Riley was going for the yellow card, but after his refusal to come over to Mike after blowing his whistle 5 times, he decided he was sick of his attitude and give him the straight red. His sending-off was vindiacted, the method was just wrong."

Danwaah (U7025075) posted Oct 1, 2008 There seem to be two different issues being discussed here. First Terry's rescinded card. There is no doubt at all that that was a bad decision and needs to be investigated. As a Liverpool fan I can't argue that the big 4 don't have some sway.

ArmchairPro (U1794726) posted Oct 1, 2008 It's quite obvious that the FA would never rescind the red, I don't even know why we bothered appealing. posted Oct 3, 2008 Its so funny what the blinkers do to people ! Comment on this article |
