Premier League Arsenal

comment on the article

Arsenal created chance after chance and were very creative throughout. Our forwards were very wasteful. How many did Ade miss?

We might finish in the top 4 again but not good enough to win the league period.
Adebayor has his strengh but he is not a world class striker.
We need another center to pair with either Gallas or Kolo. Please stop blaming Gallas ,kolo is as pitiful on Aerial balls as Gallas is.
Could imagine what kind of season Arsenal would have if we had Villa playing along side Ade.

Typical plastic, whinge whinge we need to spend money we need Villa because evryone says so whaaaaa p!)) off and support the Mancs - we lost to Hull big deal they played well we took the result for granted end of story, we have a great side with the best youth team in Europe, support them, if we lose so what thats sport....

I have to agree with burntheheretics about Adebayor. When are people going to wake up to the fact that he is a complete waste of space. OK he can roll the ball in from 2 yards with the inside of his right foot. That's it - end of story. He can't shoot properly, in fact he never tries to. Of all the goals he has ever scored foir Arsenal he has only scored 1 from a shot hit with his laces (apart from the volleys against Spurs and Newcastle which admittedly were good strikes) He can't head a ball despite the fact he is a giant and he loses every header when he is being challenged. He never ever attacks the ball in the box but just stands at the far post in the unlikely event that everybody else misses it. He is lazy, arrogant and has absolutely no idea what offside means. He thinks he is the best player in the world and that everybody wants him. Did we ever receive an offer from another club ? No chance. We will never win anything with him in the team. We haven't so far. Yet Wenger says he is a'lion in training'. Great - just what we need. I will never criticise Wenger but he does have some strange ideas.

Another Saturday, another smug, arrogant member of the Fantastic 4 gets its arse kicked. Right on cue, another manager and set of fans start whinging. Face facts: Hull were the better team on the day. They deserved to win. Maybe - just stop & think for a second about this, Arsenal fans - neither the players nor the manager was actually to blame. Who were you all booing at the end? Was it Hull for not rolling over as they're supposed to? Maybe you're to blame, with your condescending attitude towards anyone outside Man U, Chelsea & Liverpool. All the (very few) compliments to Hull on here so far are backhanded like "they wanted it more" and "they took their chances, we didn't" - why don't you just come right out with it and say they cheated? If you can't handle losing, you shouldn't be involved in competitive sport.

--------------------------

have you actually read the thread or just jumped in and posted because most Arsenal fans are saying Hull was better and deserved to win, and we're all moaning about our manager and players

no one is saying they cheated or the ref was poor, you have just gone off on one for no reason

heres a suggestion for future reference, read the thread, then post

Well thanks a bunch for the advice, Mr Cheeky Girl. You seem pretty good at missing the point to me. The point is (I'll type extra slow for you) that Arsenal fans have NOTHING to complain about. You lost a match. You deserved to lose. It was the right result. And still you moan, because you don't think Hull have any right to beat you under any circumstances. Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, yes, but the likes of Hull? You'd rather lay into your own players & manager than look at what actually happened during the match objectively. Yes, some of you gave Hull some credit but it was all backhanded compliments, e.g. "yes, Giovanni's goal was great, but we should have closed him down", i.e. "we let him score". No, you didn't. He was too good for you. As were Hull generally. Accept it. Your lot played as well as they were allowed to. And as for your "read the thread then post" advice, I think I'll sodding well post whenever I feel like it if it's all the same to you, thanks. Does that clear that point up? To finish with - yes, I did go off on one, but not for no reason; I just don't have any time for bad losers. Again, here's hoping that's loud and clear for you.

It does make me smile when i see people say i will never moan about wenger...You need to wake up my friend and see that his reluctance to bring in a top centre half, finisher in front of goal and a winger with some pace to aid the kids who are coming through is the problem...he told us for years senderos was good enough and we knew he wasnt,i aint even gonna start about eboue, adebayor will never be a top finisher all he was was a cheap alternative to a top striker like villa....Imagine how many times torres would score with the chances ade has. You can back wenger and i have but if we finish outside the top 4 this year i want him to explain " leaving highbury will allow me to compete at the highest level of the transfer market " Makes you think eh !

I agree with Lease27.

It's really depressing to read so-called football fans saying players are crap and more should be bought just because a team loses a game of football.

This is the result of believing all the do-or-die hype on $ky televion and the attempts by big spending clubs to bury competetion in sport.

Well done Phil Brown and well done Hull City.
