Everton 0 - 2 Liverpoolby toffeelat (U10649286) 27 September 2008
I'm completely dejected by our performance today. Why did we give them so much space, nobody closed anyone down. Why was Castillo on the bench?, why didnt we start 4-4-2 and go with Saha? Why was Hibbert playing? Whilst it always hurts to lose to the RS the manner today was very difficult because I thought it was a spineless and spirtless performance, where is the unity and team spirit of a year ago? archLionheart (U6720369) posted Sep 29, 2008 I'm sorry but I've never been a Moyes fan, still a bluenose though, and that game on Sat just made it worse. How can a manager tell his team to reat a derby match as just an ordinary game and not to let their hearts get in the way of things. It completely misses the point. No matter what the positions in the league an eberton l'pool match is all about passion. How can a manager possibly have such an attitude. You can bet your life that ferguson would have been sceeming to get at them, not deffend from your 18yard box. The line up was appalling.
