Live - Saturday's Premier League

Premier League
comment on the article

Sometimes, you've got to laugh. Even if you're a senior Newcastle player, according to many of this morning's newspapers.

But let's not let Joe Kinnear overshadow today's proceedings completely. He's not even going to be at St James' Park for their home game against Blackburn, apparently.

There are some cracking games to get stuck into today. Everton and Liverpool start us off, Man Utd face Bolton, Stoke play Chelsea and later, Arsenal take on Hull. There's a little bit of something there for everyone.

There are four other games, too. You guys better be in form today - don't make me go all Roy Keane on you!

None of us know whether these teams like Hull can keep it up, but, at least, for the moment, the top half of the table sure looks funny and certainly not as anyone would have predicted at the beginning

Byzantine Blue (U13109055): "If Hull City win this match I will lick my dog's a-rsehole and post a picture of it on here. Not even joking, I promise that."

We are waiting. And don't disappoint us.

Been saying this for some time, how football can be unpredictable despite others thinking they know it all just by the teams who are playing. This was a sure cert to be a home win and yet.....you have one person on here saying Arsenal have bigger title credentials than Liverpool but we get scoffed at for drawing with Stoke while it's little or nothing with a home defeat to Hull.

Skrtel- that hurts coming from Liver-hoof-pool.doh

Muppet."

Each to his own, but I'm with Skrtel (surprised?).

I prefer to see the strikers' running opening the defences for those raking power-passes that get me on the edge of my seat, to the tap-tap-run-round-in-triangles (AKA "sexy") football that Arsenal play. winkeye

Arsenal have no chance of winning the premiership this season. There not good enough. Man utd will win the premiership because we have the best squad

Sorry but I think Chelsea have the best squad, they're the only side who can afford to have world class players on the bench.

Who would have believed that Tottenham would be rock bottom 5 games in, Keegan would be sacked with just a few games played. Arsenal would lose to Hull and Hull would be in the top half?

I certainly didn't. So thank god for the Premier League.
