Looking from a neutrals point of view, tonights game had everything, even Ganson made me chuckle with his comments to the players. If the finals half as good next week, I'll be happy. Dont get too downhearted Wigan fans, your team played their part in another classic.

Was a good hard game.

Hard luck Wigan. To be fair i think over the full season both these teams deserve to be in the final as the league table suggests they are the best two teams.

It is a shame though as i was hoping for a shock along and i prayed it was the wire to be the ones to do it but we were just SHOCKING !!!

Good luck Staints N Rhinos in the final. And if you see a very drunk small fat guy in a wire top at OT that will be me ale

accidental my eye . it doesnt matter if its deads shoulders knees or toes you cant stamp while getting up to play the ball. maybe with 12 men it would be a different story but ganson chickened out not for the first time this season. all that said leeds were the better team and after that game there must have been some non RL watchers thinking hey this is a great sport ill watch it more. well done leeds dont let me down against saints.

This was one of the best game I have seen all Season (& I have been to 2 of the only real Derbys in RL. Rovers V FC)and I thought that Wigan were awesome at times.
Leeds were at there usual best (Senior was lucky just to get 10, In my opinion, Running that far to throw a punch should be off for the rest of the game).
The stamp in the face? Accidental. Although having the other players balls under his nose should have given him a clue as to where the face was going to be.

I went as a Wigan fan.

I wasn't impressed with some decisions, such as we got a penalty on the line, every single leeds players was at least a yard offside. Wigan knocked on, nothing given.

Anyway, I'm sure we were given some decisions too, no sour grapes.

cherrywarrior, "we looked tired and just not up to it". I thought both teams ran their blood to water last night and were very much up for it in what was a fantastic game of rugby league. However, what we do lack is imagination and guile in attack, we were predictable going forward and Leeds contained us. However, when we became desperate and threw the ball around we scored. In Nobbys post match talk he mentions the need for close season signings I just hope it is someone like Matt Orford, unlikely to be the man himself but someone like him is what we need. Finally, Lee Smith, straight red, different result!

I heard we were signing 3 new players, hopefully not all of the Australians, probably one more aussie and we need a v good winger/centre (phelps is wasted at centre, in his last match for the Bulldogs he got man of the match playing a fullback before he came up here!)

Never seen such a dirty and arrogant side as Leeds, hope the mighty SAINTS do to them next week what they did last week and totally thrash them.

Leeds were the better side over the eighty minutes but what a terrible cop out with the Smith stamping. He scored two tries after he should have been sat in the dressing room Abjectly poor refereeing.

Next will be another cop out at the hearing when it will be naughty Bailey shouldn't have put his face in the way of Smiths boot TWICE and no action !!!

Still should be another cracking game against the bully boys sorry Rhinos. Bring them on !!!
