I hope that there isn't any pile up on the first lap. It's a brand new race so i am thinking that it might be a mixed up grid again. Being Patriotic i would love to see LH win.

Moto GP just done a night race no problems, Yanks race under lights no problems, so why are we worrying about F1 under lights?????

NASCAR, as much as I'm not a huge fan, has been running night races in the US for quite some time. While the cars don't compare in any meaningful way, their terminal velocity is up around 200mph depending on the venue.

Provided they've done their homework, the lights aren't going to be an issue in Singapore.

Raikkonen for the win, i find it weird how in practice he was going to beat hamiltons time and aborted, my dads in singapore, as he works there, and he said raikkonen lookd very fast but didnt think he wss pushing the ferrari to the limit?! hmmm

NASCAR is different from F1.
They go in one direction....right.
In Singapore, they will be going left and right and the lights will be far away from the track unlike in NASCAR where the lights are close to the track.

But lets hope there is a 1st corner incident, which takes some major key title contenders (Hopefully not Lewis...or Massa...or Kimi)

Yes but it's the rain the drivers are concerned about, and what will add the excitement factor... Yanks don't race in the wet, and Qatar is hardly monsoon territory - 8cm of rainfall a year!

Its funny how footballers who are arguable much fitter are able to play at 12:45 one day, and 8pm the next. Or as in the Champions league final in Moscow 11pm.

What we have here is a very tough race. A wet race at night on a completely new track. Very dangerous stuff indeed.

The two drivers competing for the championship will definitely take bigger risks than the other regular front runners. So one of the two should win it.

But both Hamilton and Massa have a tendency to mess it up a little bit when the pressure is on. It`s also very dangerous to be over-aggressive under these circumstances. Both of them have an tendency to be over-aggressive from time to time.

I wouldn`t be surprised if both Hamilton and Massa went off or took each other off and handed the victory to somebody else..

Hamilton showed signs of pressure during qualifying whilst Massa did a superb job again. Watching the cars throughout every session I have come to the conclusion that Ferrari has the best car at this circuit. And there can be little doubt who the better Ferrari driver is.

It was a shame to see Alonso have trouble after looking so promising. I hope things go better for him in the race.

I expect Massa to win with Hamilton second which will keep us on tenterhooks for the last three races...
