I had high hopes for us in this Carling Cup as soon as Curbs left! I was looking forward for this day too! I was thinking, easy win! But im obviously wrong! If it was Curbs who lost this, I would go mental but unlucky Zola mate! Franco hasn't had time to find his best players and the deadwood! I hope that he drops LBM for the rest of the season as He is the worst player to play for West Ham! Who bought Boa Morte again? Im obviously really disapointed about losing to a below avarage Championship side but fair play to Watford! They wanted the game more than us and they thouroghly deserved the win! Di Michele and Sears dont look a bright partnership! But there has been recent Speculation linking Sears to Watford and Plymouth! If we were serious about this Cup we would have put a good 11 out! "Curbs would have won this" or "We should have played more youth!" The Curbs fans will probably say!

We should have played Llunga at LB! Etherington at LM with Boamorte out of the team! Where was Behrami? I feel everytime LBM plays it is a waste of that position he plays in! Where the F was Bellamy to? He was on the Bench at West Brom but was nowhere to be seen at Newcastle the other day? Another injury?

I am sure Zola wanted to win but not many of your players seemed very interested but then you won't be the only ones I am sure.

Just shows you need more quality added in January I guess.

You'll probably win at Fulham and us lose on Saturday!

I must laugh at IronJL, here is a numpty who thinks he knows anything logical about football.

You never should underestimate any side when you play them, you have to remember that Championship is only 1 division down from the Premiership. Watford wanted it more and got what they deserved.

And stop fabricating a fake band of 'curbs' followers. I support every manager and I know that Curbishley would have probably played a similiaar team, though his style may have got us the result, but who knows? Who really knows?

At least we can concerntrate on the league now, starting with Fulham on Saturday and keeping up with the pack at the top !

Well done watford id say they played the better football although West Ham were really unlucky to have conceeded a own goal!

One question .....where was Bellamy last night (not even on the bench) ? He has'ent featured in the 2 games that Zola has been in charge but was on the bench at West Brom when Kevin Keen was caretaker. Any clues ?
As for the game last night its only the mickey Mouse cup after all!

We had reserves out a 16 year old on the bench
being struggling all season to get a team on the pitch and no luck {ghoast goal} Give us some credit let's face it west ham should be in the championship after the tevez affair
