RONALDO - TEVEZ - ROONEY - BERBATOV

Premier League Manchester United
comment on the article

Man Utd have the best front four in the Premier League now and i'm just hoping they all will be able to play together in a match. Tevez has been our best striker so far this season & he was left out against Chelsea which was a big suprise to me.

I'm just wondering if they were to play together, how will Fergie set them out?

This is how I would set them out:

--------------------------Van Der Sar-------------------------

Brown----------Ferdinand-------------Vidic----------------Evra

--------------Hargreaves/Carrick-------Scholes----------------

----------------------------Rooney----------------------------

-----Ronaldo--------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------Tevez----------

---------------------------Berbatov---------------------------

Do you think this formation will work ?

Redmanc87 who then would be on the other wing? Nani?! I'd rather have Tevez

no i think you can only play 3 at one time.

plus you need to put Giggs in that line up

Its all theoritical, they are never all going to be fit anyway. Wouldnt mind seeing Tevez on the left wing or Rooney in central midfield occasionally though.

I'll tell you what, Ruff. If you don't want honest answers, don't post on other teams' boards. No need to run off to the mods if you don't like what we say.

Very sad.

Why would you want to play all three, tevez, Berbatov and Rooney. Its all about balance and playing players in their correct positions. If we have injuries etc then they may all play but why would we want to play all three, when we have enough attacking threat with rooney, barba and ronaldo. Its good to have a decent option on the bench as well. Its a squad game i'm sure everyone will get a chance at some stage.

I don't think we'll see all 4 too often to be honest. But if we do it might look like this;

----------Berbs-----------

Ronaldo---Rooney--Tevez----

I would imagine the 3 supporting players would rotate and generally cause havok. Stick 2 holding players behind them and let them get on with it.

We used this system quite well in the 06/07 season but It looked like;

---------------Saha----------------

----Giggs-------Rooney-----Ronaldo

i don't think all four should play at once, it, i guess, defy's the object of buyin another forward, in that if there all playin then none of them are resting.

if i was to play all 4 though i'll set them out like this...

-----------Berbatov-------------
---------Rooney-Tevez-----------
------Anderson-Carrick----Ronaldo
Evra-----------------------------
-------Vidic---Ferdinand---Brown-

Rooney and Tevez both as supporting forwards.
Anderson and Carrick playing centre mid with Ronaldo playing wide right.
Evra playing as a left wingback whereas Brown is a fullback.

OR...

-----Rooney--Berdatov
----------Tevez----------
Nani------Carrick-----Ronaldo
Evra--Vidic--ferdinand--Brown

Tevez dropping and collecting the ball from deep as Rooney and Berdatov link up better.
