Latest news regarding Waggy:

I note the charmed, yet talentless, Ashley Giles has now been cited by nearly half of all counties for aggresively trying to poach the best talent from elsewhere, including our GG. Pity his bowling never showed as much bite.....

If Graham Wagg ever plays for England it will be a disgrace!!!!

I was at Northampton last year when he spat in the face of one of the Northants batsman. Incidents like this do no belong in cricket, and is it worth the risk of him repeating this on the international stage when he is supposed to be setting an example and representing our country!!!!

The guy is an animal and should have been thrown out of the game last year. If youre going to 'gob' in the faces of other profesional cricketers your not welcome in the sport. As a Northamptonshire fan I witnessed him do it and the umpires turn a blind eye.

Bears fan.

It was obvious from the beginning that Waggie was a real talent, and it was really disappointing when the coke incident came to light.

It was a stupid thing to do but with the Problems of Dermott Reeve and Keith Piper coming to light it seems that Edgebaston wasn't the best environment for an impressionable youngster at the time.

I didn't know about the spitting incident and it saddens me if it is true (and I have no reason to doubt it), it just seems amazing that no action was taken and that it recieved so little publicity.

I wish Waggie and yourselves all the best for next season and he is probably at the best place at the moment. I haven't had the chance to see him on TV this year, but it sounds as if most of you doubt he has the ability or temperament to go all the way, which is a bit sad.

We have a youngster called Chrissie Woakes coming through at the moment who is really exiting, the first really decent youngster since Waggie, keep an eye on him. He has just turned 19 and reminds me a lot of Stewie Broad at the same age.

If Waggie can get his head sorted it would be nice to see him fulfill his early potential, even though it's not with us.

Rob never made the complaint because the umpires refused to ackowledge the incident tyhat would have been national new story. It is documented in the local press and we hope England ignore Wagg like they have been Sales.

As a youngster Graham Wagg was a great encourager and role model for young player here in Rugby, including my 2 sons, as well as an exceptional cricketer, as was his Dad, John, a brilliant coach for GEC. I like what he said so openly about the wrongness of the cocaine incident, and I hope he equally regrets the Northampton incident assuming its true. He is maturing as a person as well as a cricketer and I wish him a very positive future for England's as well as his own sake.

We have had all this before from your buddy view from the blues (that is if you are both not the same person)
DEAFAMATION of character

As I said before regarding the infamous incident, it was so infamous that no one else saw it and neither the umpires saw it or any one other than now "two" people from the crowd witnessed it. Strange that. Must be some kind of conspiracy by the umpires to ignore it you saw it, what good eyesight you have.. The player didnt make a fuss and neither did you at the time but quite happily bitch like a girl on websites about it.

Unless you have more proof than that I suggest you both button your mouths.

Shows you how clueless you really are about him you having never met the guy, I think the words you are looking for are passionate and competitive not volatile and nasty.

Agree with DLLL. Whoever the pathetic individual making such accusations is should beware. You could very easily be charged for this with the laws of the land. Your silly name won't protect you, the IP address is a giveaway...
No one can see a "spit" from the boundary edge. Grow up and get a life. Perhaps join a football board where such nonsense seems acceptable. It's not welcome here.
