Thoughts on teamRyder Cup by Manofsport (U7288969) 22 September 2008 Is it just me....but....the three who did not perform Harrington, Garcia and Westwood....did they not voice opinions that they were surprised Darren Clarke wasnt in the team...when you are in a team you want to give your all for your teammates and Captain, perhaps they didnt really want to play for Faldo, it certainly seemed to show in there demeaner and performances, they looked down in the dumps and grumpy from day one...any thoughts? Patnevin_kevin (U1931661) posted Sep 23, 2008 To say that the Americans wanted it more is absurd. Why can't the British press (and some of the public) see that Europe didn't lose the Ryder Cup, the Americans Won it. At the end of the day they played awsome golf and as well as the Europeans played we just couldn't match them. I hope Captain Faldo returns in two years time to prove everyone who is slating him and his decisions wrong.

societychamp (U1982220) posted Sep 23, 2008 if Paddy was tired after winning 2 tourneys a season, and we excuse him, then I guess Tiger with 14 majors, averaging 7/8 wins a season, Should also be excused for having a relatively average record also. No more bashing pls
