What no-one seems to have noticed is that it was actually a very good performance from Worcestershire. They batted well to reach atotal of over 180 when at one stage they looked like they would struggle to reach 150 and then they bowled and fielded very well indeed. Credit where credit's due.

Glamorgan? Our Club cricket side will trounce u anyday. You are a complete joke and should be relegated / discarded from 1st class cricket.

Norfolk or Suffolk shud take your place.

Surrey Jack, Did you say Surrey ??
Do you think you've got any right to criticize another team after the season that your side has just had. I seem to remember Glamorgan, yes Glamorgan humiliating your mob on Skysports while poor old Charles Colville was squirming in the commentary box at your keystone cops fielding. 24/07/08, Glamorgan 216-7 v Surrey 138 all out ring any bells ?? now that was 'totally embarrassing' & 'pathetic'. Maybe you should be more worried about what's happening, or not as the case may be, at the Oval.

Just to put the record straight 'surreyjack' is a reference to the fact that i am currently living in surrey but am Swansea born and bred (hence a jack)- get it?
So your comment is totally irrelevant pal. I've supported Glamorgan for 20 years so I think I have every right to critisize the team actually.

Worcestershire played well, Glamorgan badly. But let's look back over a season in which there have been, in my opinion, more plusses than minuses.

Although let that not be permission for Glamorgan to go and lose inside a day at Edgbaston this week!

Oh sorry, from the way you were talking I assumed 'Jack' was from the American TV show where they make fools of themselves. Having been a Glamorgan fan for 20 years you should appreciate that they've had a lot worse seasons than this one & the fact that they haven't gone down the Kolpak route for some short term gains like half the English counties is to their credit. They've also paid out for all the ground redevelopment & no doubt you'll be appreciating that next year when the Aussies are over, conveniently forgetting the sacrifices that have been made on playing staff funding. Try supporting your county instead of making cheap remarks to get a headline on a website.

Glamorgan have performed like every developing side - good mixed with bad. I think however that we all have to be patient. Matthew Maynard is a shrewd operator, and has brought about improvements this year. He promises changes for next year, and he will deliver. A quality overseas player will bring out the best in others - and Gibbs is a quality player.

I think however that it's time for David Hemp to be replaced as captain - step up Michael Powell.

This was the worst match I have seen. I have followed Glamorgan for years. How these so called players can pick their wages after this lack luster performance is beyond me. Will some one tell Robert Croft he is not an opening batsman

mr powell,

Not seen many Glam games this year then? Yes, Sunday was a bad performance but overall we're MUCH better than last year.

BTW. I dont think Robert himself decides to open.

I think that is the last time we will see Rob opening.

He has done it well in the past but not this year.

He has a great eye and ability to hit over the top. In addition he is of limited value down the order towards the end of an innings as he is so slow between the wickets.

Him running with Wallace or Wright would be quite something!
