AndyGaveUs (U13396577) posted Sep 22, 2008 My earlier comment was a response to someone who had obviously been enjoying too much of the black stuff. I had asked the BBC to remove the person's comment, however my request was declined. I now see that the comment has been removed, thus making my earlier comment appear to have sectarian connotations. Thank you BBC, better late than never. I am sure my earlier comment will not be taken out of context again.

rockyfive (U6271656) posted Sep 23, 2008 I am not from Tyrone, but i have to say how impressed i was with them on Sunday, they contributed magnificently to the second best final in reccent history, i was on the edge of my seat until three minutes to go when they turned the screws on Kerry. I felt very sorry for O'Neil at the end, i cant understand what all the fuss was about, he played well, passed well and spoiled Kerry poccession well, he showed what a well educated player he is and was an asset on the day, it was a shame to see him emotionally distressed in the end.

theviola1 (U11112842) posted Sep 24, 2008 i think the debate is without question over - tyrone are the best team of the modern era. to come through what they have come through would have crippled lesser teams - the loss of cormac, the retirements of peter and stevie, the loss of form of mugsy.

Have to say we are the worst supporters for jumping on the band wagon at the final hurdle, we should unconditionally support our team from the start!! Damn this credit crunch!!!!!

sportbhoy (U13464598) posted Oct 1, 2008 Great game, unbelievable to watch. I am a Tyrone fan, and have been since i was a wee kid.... i took up soccer when i was younger as i was much better at it than gaelic, so i have not played club football since U-16's.....Gaelic has always been the sport to watch, and i was so annoyed not to get a ticket to the game.... having went to all matches previous to this game this year..... the ticketing thing needs a rethink.... i travelled down to dublin to watch it in the pub, and to see young fans aged 3/4/5/6/7 going into the game was shocking..... A) the majority of them would not have a clue as to what is going on B)they have more chances down the line to se Tyrone in a final again.... seems to be the old... it is who you know thing, and Mr and Mrs big shots and their 3 kids get a day out attending something they think they like..... raging.....
