I have just watched The Killy game against Celtic, At first Celtic where not playing as a team and did not seem to settle.
But they soon settled and started to command the game but Killy were also playing well, but to my mind this Game was spoilt by the ref!
He seemed to be very Biased to Killy! Nako was brought down in the box resulting in a penalty , but he failed to send the Killy player off ! then as nako was getting up he was slapped across the head by another player right next too the ref ! and the ref did nothing about it !
There were other incidents like when Maloney ws brought down ! another sending off? players were fouling Celtic players and nothing was being done about it ! Yet when Killy players were tackled by Killy playres and fouling them the ref did nothing ! many Killy players should have been booked !
Then to add insult to injury Caldwell collided heads with a Killy player and cos his hand hit the ball he was sent off ! because the ref deemed it was clear goal scoring chance ! so why did he not send of the two players from Killy when they did the same ?
Moloney shot his penalty well past the goal but made up for it later on by scoring the first goal, Killy did well to hold the Celtic team down becauseif it had not been for the great defending and good goalkeeping it could have been more than 3-1 !

The ref had 3-1 to Celtic on his coupon, that's why. Missed the 2nd half, but I thought Celtic were brilliant in the first half. VoH and Samaras to start for sure. Where are all the Samaras doubters now?

As for fans not showing up, yes, Killie's fan base has dwindled over the last 5 years or so. This does not account for the fact that Celtic and Rangers bring about half of the amount of supporters to Rugby Park as they used to

None of your points can disguise the fact that the SPL is one of the most uncompetitive leagues in Western Europe.

As I said:

It's either Celtic or Rangers and that's been the case since football began in Scotland. The same cannot be said of England where we have had about a dozen clubs at various times in the history of the English Leagues having periods of success. As for those that are currently dominating - that's again about to change.

Nobody can doubt the superiority of the two Glasgow clubs or their world-wide support. They are the only clubs of note in the whole of your country.

As for the French lesson. Very interesting. But since were on the BBC I'd sooner you stick to using English rather than trying to be psuedo-intellectually cleaver.

Totally agree with you "Firepitfen" - really dull for the rest of Scotland to watch this 2-horsed monopoly year in year out. To add insult to injury, one half of the "big two" go and disgrace an entire race by ruining Manchester...

I'd have banned them for Europe for at least 5 years 'cause of that display. And docked them 30 points in the SPL - then we'd see Hearts or someone else at least come runners up...

Quite correct although there are now so many Killie fans that do ot attend matches involving either Rangers or Celtic. Where I sit I can think of 11 people missing yesterday, all of whom sit within 4 or 5 seats from me each week.

I have to be honest I am thinking of giving up Old firm games as you are beaten before you start with the standard of refereeing witnessed in recent years.

Well, ya wind-up merchant, it shows how much you know! Both Aberdeen and Dundee Utd have been trophy winning clubs in Scotland since I've been alive. How's about you kno b off and play with yerself.

Insult away all you like. Two can play at that game, and I'm rather good at it so I'd be careful if I were you.. winkeye

If you'd care to read all the posts instead of being a Rab Nesbitt without the humour, you would have seen that I fully appreciate that other clubs have won the Scottish Title.

What cannot be denied is that this is utterly infrequent and amounts to 15 times in 120 years when it's not either been Celtic or Rangers.

I don't know why you have so much difficulty seeing the obvious truth of this.

Then maybe again, I do.

virtual, your coming across as pompousok
the english league is dominated by 3 clubs..not four as some have suggested.it isnt abou to change, dont kid yourself, it hasnt for the last 15 years, adn we know we have a two top team league..always good to be patronised by ....

come back when another club wins your league, and disprove the point that its bought and sold in money , money , money..nothing else

you used to have an interset6ing league aslo, but honestly how boring is it to see how allthese small teams like yours keep saying you have amde a game of it

Virtual, before Roman came to Chelsea's rescue your precious English league was also a 2 team league for the last 15 years or so my friend so don't come on here knocking our league. Ok maybe Blackburn sneaked in a there to win it once, but that was a freak occurrence. Another point to keep in mind is that England has a population in the region of 50.1m compared to Scotland's 5.1m, so your league should be streets ahead of ours. In reality there is a gap, but the gap between the best teams is not that great look at the European results over the last 20 years and you will see. The English league is certainly entertaining, but the fact is it's all down to money money money, something your teams get bucket loads of, unfortunately that's not the case in Scotland.
