Calling all celtic supporters if anyone knows the whereabouts of poor barry robsons right foot could they please return it to celtic park. because i feel he is in dire need of it. why is gordon playing a one footed waste of space when we have so much class on the bench waiting to come on and actully do something with the ball.

Give the bhoy a break, remember the one against rangers, if anyone else was up for taking it surely they would of!! As for no right foot, there's plenty of players in better leagues with only one foot who are great players, what difference does it make, if he had scored would you be moaning?? Have to agree with wee mcdonald, seems on a differnet wavelength justnow!!

Robson runs up to hit the penalty and lumps it down the middle as hard as he can. There is no sense of finesse or placement. If the keeper last night had done his research (likely) then its small wonder he saved it.

But don't worry Celtic fans, we were all saying that Scotland's World Cup dreams were over after Macedonia, but we're right back on track now. All you need to do is actually perform away from home..

I didn't think Aalborg were good, and I think we made them look better than they were, Man U and Villarreal will slaughter them, and if we choose a better team, I'm sure we'll end our away hoodoo. Last night's draw was down to poor team selection. Did anyone notice how frustrated Brown was and in the second halve started making those runs forward that we've all seen at Hibs and been crying out for since he arrived? He put Robson to shame, at one point Brown just took the ball off Robson, and rightly so, and Robson just look like a silly wee boy. I'm not slating Robson as a bad player, just a bad night and I'm sure he knows he has to do better. I was very disappointed in Maloney and last night was an example of why I wasn't keen on resigning him. Seemed very static, wanted the ball at his feet all the time, which is no good when you're sitting almost on the half way line all the time.

Need to buy at least 4 players -a natural goalscorer (like someone with 50% skill of Larsson, appreciate he was a one off) an attacking midfielder (like Lubo, Petrov) and 2 quality defenders - more difficult to find.
Have not given up hope of an away win.(Celt were better team even though played very poor) -but will need a good dose of lady luck and also to pull some tricks out of the bag to qualify. Not the best

One of the poorest pens ever. Ive seen pens go way over the bar but when people do this it is by accident. Robson lumbered up to the ball and done exactly what he wanted to do with it. If Strachan has any sense he'll see to it Robson doesnt take any more!

i really do not understand gordon strachan. if you are goin to ask a team to play the way celtic did and knock the ball about at the back and midfield why play the two players who can't pass but can run and have a bit of dig? why not play at least one of crosas or hartley who can both see a pass and play, and tht would allow the other centre midfielder to get forward.

thenn just as we are stretching aalborg and gettin some pressre on h takes mcdonald off(not nakamura) and puts maloney in the centre THEN HE TAKES MALONEY OFF (STILL NOT NAKAMURA)and leaves us with no pace or skill up top nd the only player with that left on the pitch is mcgeady.

maybe i wouldnt be be writting this if the pen had have went in but even at tht one - nil against aalborg at parkhead would still not have been good enough

BORUC
WILSON CALDWELL MCMANUS NAYLOR
CROSAS HARTLEY
BROWN MCGEADY
MALONEY
SAMARAS
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
is what it needs to be in spain

So many points to aim at with all comms so far. Naka is a magician at times & nearly scored but spends too much time looking for his rabbit. I agree about Maloney he was inconsistant 1st time around and will not bring anything to Tic 2nd and long term. Defence? I thought Caldwell looked better but McManus!!!
McGeady should have started and Samaras will continue to tap goals in the SPL but flatters to deceive. ROBSON missed a pen, something even the king of kings did in Europe. Robbo will come back good!

If only WGS had played x instead of y.
Come off it. He played the team in form, and it didn't pan out.
We play well against good teams. Against weaker defensive teams it's like playing Kilmarnock or ICT. We can stoop to the occasion. It was better with Shaktar because we knew they were tough and they attacked. If we are ever to progress beyond the last 16 we know we have to start winning away. Our prospects of making the last 16 this season are not great, but now there's no question of waiting - we need to make that first step now. I think WGS and the team are up for it. Let's back them. If they fail, at least it will be to decent opposition.
