poor barry robsonScottish Premier Celtic by sutherlandbhoy (U13366958) 17 September 2008 Calling all celtic supporters if anyone knows the whereabouts of poor barry robsons right foot could they please return it to celtic park. because i feel he is in dire need of it. why is gordon playing a one footed waste of space when we have so much class on the bench waiting to come on and actully do something with the ball. nellrodd (U13368536) posted Sep 18, 2008 Give the bhoy a break, remember the one against rangers, if anyone else was up for taking it surely they would of!! As for no right foot, there's plenty of players in better leagues with only one foot who are great players, what difference does it make, if he had scored would you be moaning?? Have to agree with wee mcdonald, seems on a differnet wavelength justnow!!

Scamilton (U10298279) posted Sep 18, 2008 Robson runs up to hit the penalty and lumps it down the middle as hard as he can. There is no sense of finesse or placement. If the keeper last night had done his research (likely) then its small wonder he saved it.

d4zza1 (U12463635) posted Sep 18, 2008 I didn't think Aalborg were good, and I think we made them look better than they were, Man U and Villarreal will slaughter them, and if we choose a better team, I'm sure we'll end our away hoodoo. Last night's draw was down to poor team selection. Did anyone notice how frustrated Brown was and in the second halve started making those runs forward that we've all seen at Hibs and been crying out for since he arrived? He put Robson to shame, at one point Brown just took the ball off Robson, and rightly so, and Robson just look like a silly wee boy. I'm not slating Robson as a bad player, just a bad night and I'm sure he knows he has to do better. I was very disappointed in Maloney and last night was an example of why I wasn't keen on resigning him. Seemed very static, wanted the ball at his feet all the time, which is no good when you're sitting almost on the half way line all the time.

the_Sluiceterer (U2892952) posted Sep 18, 2008 Need to buy at least 4 players -a natural goalscorer (like someone with 50% skill of Larsson, appreciate he was a one off) an attacking midfielder (like Lubo, Petrov) and 2 quality defenders - more difficult to find.

Tatloaf (U1591557) posted Sep 18, 2008 One of the poorest pens ever. Ive seen pens go way over the bar but when people do this it is by accident. Robson lumbered up to the ball and done exactly what he wanted to do with it. If Strachan has any sense he'll see to it Robson doesnt take any more!

devinee (U12680828) posted Sep 18, 2008 i really do not understand gordon strachan. if you are goin to ask a team to play the way celtic did and knock the ball about at the back and midfield why play the two players who can't pass but can run and have a bit of dig? why not play at least one of crosas or hartley who can both see a pass and play, and tht would allow the other centre midfielder to get forward.

GezBhoy1888 (U11278578) posted Sep 18, 2008 So many points to aim at with all comms so far. Naka is a magician at times & nearly scored but spends too much time looking for his rabbit. I agree about Maloney he was inconsistant 1st time around and will not bring anything to Tic 2nd and long term. Defence? I thought Caldwell looked better but McManus!!!
