Fagan Has A Broken Leg

Premier League Hull City

It appears that when Guthrie kicked him on the leg, he suffered a fracture on his leg, although he got straight back up after the incident. Guthrie may even be banned for longer if this is the case, and he basicly took all the anger out on Fagan, after Newcastle's miserable week. Shocking. If you're a Hull fan, or anybody, how do you feel about this, and if he does have a broken leg, how big a blow is this for them?

"Thats what happens when you time waste"
What a ridiculous comment. So by that token all players playing out time should have their legs broken? dear oh dear. If the ball is in play it isn't time wasting any way.
Also people should stop refering to the incident as a tackle. There was no tackle, no attempt was made to play the ball.
Disgraceful incident.

Players like Guthrie should be banned for life.

Disgusting attitude.

There is an old saying that "when all is said and done, more is said than done!"

190+ comments on the Guthrie savagery and the large majority took the normal mature view and condemned it. Now the FA is being assailed for not extending the ban. Whether they could, within the laws of football or not, is questionable.

The hard fact is that one player was assaulted on the second attempt and had his leg broken and this animal Guthrie will be playing again in a few weeks. Maybe Hull FC or Fagan will sue, probably not.

And we will all sit back and wait for the next serious incident to happen so that we can all piss and moan again and nothing will change. And English league football will continue in its tailspin because no one wants to step forward and clean things up, and the supporters don't seem to have a say. Sad isn't it!

Apparently Fagan is looking into it with his lawyers as to whether or not he has a case to sue. He now believed that is right ankle is also broken, not just his tibia. Here's the link:

I personally hope he does. Any break can affect your future performance and Guthrie should be held to account.

Yeah, I hope he takes Guthrie to court.

It's pathetic that some people think the laws of the land don't apply when kicking a ball about on a park.

I can't believe what some idiots are saying.

"ITS SIMPLE DONT WASTE TIME HE DESERVED IT"

"Thats what happens when you time waste"

"shouldnt time wate"

Don't you realise what you're saying?

YOU ARE SAYING IT IS OK FOR SOMEONE TO BREAK SOMEONE ELSE'S LEG AND ANKLE FOR NOT MAKING IT EASY FOR THE OPPOSITION TO TAKE THE BALL BACK?

Honestly, I am sick. People like you just make footballers like Danny Guthrie and Joey Barton (both from Newcastle, did anyone else notice that? - and I hear Andy Caroll has just been arrested for assault), etc. think it is OK to lash out.

Seriously, GET REAL.

I see your point Hull fans, it was an awful challenge but with the current situation at Newcastle, you can't blame him for wanting to. He'll be a loss, and things keep getting worse for Newcastle
