sandcastlejim (U7681251) posted Sep 16, 2008 Hamilton will win the championship. Massa is a third-rate driver who wouldn't win Top Gear's star in a reasonably priced car!

havenohome (U13360354) posted Sep 16, 2008 why is it that the British have to hate their own succeses. if someone is any good they are usually cocky, but I look around and I think that people like lewis Hamilton are probably less cocky then other drivers on the course. leave the brits alone and start supporting your own nation, mabye then we would finally win something

Slicks-n-Wings (U10101967) posted Sep 17, 2008 I was watching the Liverpool game last night, thinking about what was said here earlier about 'classy footballers' and noticing a few 'dives' during the game. I wondered how an F1 driver might attempt the same thing after being overtaken. He could weave his car into the overtaking car to make it look like a collision and then spin off dramatically into the gravel, throw out the steering wheel, jump out onto the gravel and roll around in 'agony' whilst keeping one hand up in the air and looking around for a TV camera to make sure the stewards are watching. "did you see that?!,did you see that?!, he pushed me off!" Of course, if it were possible, he'd then jump back into the car and start racing again.

TK9780 (U10118820) posted Sep 17, 2008 Hamilton’s attitude towards other F1 drivers is the bases for the sense of detestation felt a long the pit-lane. I personally blame the media for building Hamilton up into believing he already deserves a marble plinth with bronze statue. Hamilton is just one of many very talented drivers to join the F1 circus over the last few decades.
