MP, Feels better to be called as GB again haha. Anyhow Nazir did get his chances though.

Nazir is such a clean hitter, a pleasure to watch in full flow and Yousef stroke peerlessly as ever, something has to be done, too many good players blocked from playing other than ICL - it is sad

Waikatoo if NZ want to put Aus off balance they should open with Ryder and McCullum with How at 3 and Taylor 4 smiley

And I was never impressed by O'Brian he looked an overweight poor impression of Merv Hiughes sans moush, has he improved?

MP, I have to say that O'Brien bowled well in England and did better than Mills in Bang. It doesn't say much as Bang. isn't an opposition to judge a player but he is performing better than Mills at present.

Well whom ever can swing it as Brisbane is like a swingers paradise

I fancy Mills taking out Hayden more than O'Brian
And Symonds has to play just for his fielding alone, Aus looked flatfooted on the field without being to bad, Symonds adds that extra menance on the field

It pains me to say it, because I have never been a fan of O'Brien, but GB is quite right ... he bowled very well in England and outbowled Mills in Bangladesh ... he also apparently bowled pretty well in the 6 wicket loss to New South Wales ...

As for the ICL carnage, I really wanted Hyderabad to win as i'm a Chris Harris fan from way back, but what can you do against such an assault and basically a full strength Pakistan side? Well played both teams, but very well played Lahore ... a fully deserved victory!

On whatever I saw on cricinfo's commentary Mills seems to have lost that late swing he used to get and he probably struggled even against the youthful NSW side made up of Henriques, Khawaja and others.

Symonds had admitted he drank too much before being sensationally sent home from a one-day series in Darwin in September.

Clarke today said their relationship was as healthy as ever after bonding with Symonds at a promotional party at Brisbane.

"We had a cocktail party last night which was great. We spent a bit of time togetherÓ

Well, well, road to recovery begins with cocktails!
biggrin

He says they were at a cocktail party, you presume that means he was drinking.

About the usual level of presumption for these boards.
