What a mess!Premier League West Ham United by lions71 (U12927916) 13 September 2008 On top of the the embarrasing farce that has been played out at Upton Park this week, we now have to face been outplayed and beaten by one of the favourites for relegation. If its not bad enough having to face up to being managed by Chelsea it looks like we will have to suffer another season of underachievement and in the knowledge that we forced out the best manager since Harry. MemHammer (U1560140) posted Sep 13, 2008 and there was me thinkin that West Ham was all about exciting football? If 3-2 doesn't do it for you then what will? ok we threw away a lead it ain't the end of the world and after the last few weeks of everything being turned upside down its not really surprising that the concentration is lacking a bit

CrackedLCD (U2275610) posted Sep 14, 2008 It was a penalty mate and, if we're going to get picky, there were 2 fouls in the build up to your second... We deserved the points yesterday just about, it was probably the worst we've played so far this season though... we gave the ball away cheaply at times which is something we hadn't done up until yesterday. It was a decent open game though

Stanlye-baggie (U13342450) posted Sep 14, 2008 I think both teams played some good attacking football. West brom were more honest and wanted tyhe game than West Ham. Quality football from a quality manager. Defensively weak at times but have quality to come back in. Happy Days!!

jeffers65 (U8885255) posted Sep 15, 2008 As already said let's not push the panic buttons yet. It was one defeat at the start of the season, Zola starts today and hopefully Clarke will be joining him. As for the Chelsea link get over it. they are joining West Ham get behind them. As for the penalty on Saturday Green played the ball first and the forward fell over his arm..a bit of a dodgy one to give.

brookingsirons (U13294871) posted Sep 15, 2008 we need to get the defence sorted out when steve clarke comes in asap, its all over the place in the wigan game & blackburn it was the same, the right back & left back area is a big problem any team with some pace on the wings is going to give us a real problem,i really hope Zola works on this before the newcastle game because they have pace on both sides to hurt us. was pleased with de michel he could have and should have scored 2/3 another couple of games and i think he should fit in well.
