What a shame, I was looking forward to seeing Hamilton beat the Ferrari of Alonso in 2010, a season where McLaren will not be able to mess up a refuelling strategy as refuelling will be banned.

>> "As an alonso fan I feel very upset because he would be cruising for a third world title this year in ferrari. And also next year."
====================================

As would Hamilton if he was in a Ferrari, or even Vettel, Kubica or possibly a well motivated Jenson Button.

>> "Alonso doesn´t deserve this treatment."
=================================

He dumped Renault after they gave him a championship winning car 2 years on the trot. He then spat his dummy out at McLaren after Hamilton started beating him fair and square in the same car, and he went back to Renault, and then proceeded to display his disloyalty by letting it be known that he would leave to drive for any other competitive team given the chance.

Of course any other team will be very dubious about taking on someone of his flawed genius.

He is a great GREAT driver, no doubt, but he is flawed and not a team player.

Although he is a capable driver, i do have to question his desire. He did not look like a man interested in competing last season; compared to hamilton/alonso/massa. My dad made a comment about thinking he might retire in the middle of last season. At the time i laughed at him, but im not so sure how much longer he will stay in f1, this is a big season for him coming up. If i was ferrari i would get alonso who appears desperate to be top man again.

Interstingly, Kimi has entered the Arctic Rally - in his own Fiat Abarth Grande Punto S2000 - Which I believe is Factory spec.

I think this year he's got something to prove and will go for it at the expense of all others. Let's hope that the resultant rivalry inside Ferrari causes an implosion of the likes caused by Alonso at McLaren 2 years ago. Then we'll see how they cope with it with their Mediterranean, mental frailties!

It has amazed me how some people had written Kimi off after one average season, lets not forget this man has been a consistant challenger to the F1 title for the last few years with Mclaren and then Ferrari.

I will expect that Kimi will be more of a threat than ever, and as some people have pointed out he will have a point to prove, If I was a betting man I would say he will be up there challenging closer in the 09 season (providing the car is upto it).

its so easy to have an indifferent season
he had quick spells and showed how quickly he can drive often getting the fastest lap right at the end... i was wondering if the car/team set up they had was just not working for him.
Kimi is quick... Personally only Alonso is as quick over an entire race
