Blame it on the afro (U12695520) posted Sep 9, 2008 Good to see AV supporting an injured players. I was watching the match on TV when it happened. Sometimes I'm happier that I didn't make it as a pro footballer.

vetchsmi (U13294158) posted Sep 10, 2008 Im not an aston villa fan but, would like to say how much of a revelation aston villa, martin o'neill and the board have been this season. What other team outside the top 4 can hang on and say no to its best players. Martin is doing a fantastic job and could probably field two teams full of british players. im not against signing foreign players, but it is nice to see some home grown talent get the chance. push on for champs league! Martin O'Neill is a legend!

edisperger (U3300644) posted Sep 11, 2008 Have to say i think shoreys played quite well, particularly going forward. I think both players have their merits and it will be interesting to see who is favoured when both are fully fit. Its a sign of our squad improvement that we can feel relatively happy when either player is selected.
