How much will you have thrown away? Very little. The deal has a small downside and large bonuses for playing and scoring. If he dont play you dont pay.

Good luck to him for taking the risk and trying again at his stage in life, he could have easily taken a big Championship contract instead.

Ahh the legend is back on telly. Yes hes past his magnificent best, but the contract set-up covers that. He scores he gets payed, doesnt... You are not losing alot, its a non-expensive gamble. Anway you should be nice to him, he will own ur house soon! YNWA

Fowler was last a decent player at the same time as McManaman and Redknapp. He should stick to sitting in a TV studio with the other two.

I wish I could live off my form when I was 20 years old. It would save me doing any work now!

It seems to me that Ince is just buying all his mates in football. For reasons i dont understand he bought ex-wolves team mate Keith Andrews from MK Dons in League Two who is now 28. Now he has gone and bought in Robbie Fowler, he is not cut for the speed of the premiership anymore and hasnt played very much in the past 2 years. Surely Ince should be luring promising young talent to the club and nurturing them into world class players to get Blackburn moving in the right direction.

He's more concerned with keeping mates in the game, rather than showing true determination and love for Blackburn

never quite reached the very top end as he never established himself internationally.

A good player to have around and blackburn can hardly be choosing the top players, at least he can offer some experience and is better than nothing.

Well said Tractor - at least somebody here can see the wood for the trees!

If Blackburn struggle this season and players like Pedersen etc. move elsewhere Ince is going to be up to his neck in it!
