if it did happen it would be great - perhaps it is not as mad as it sounds . DAVID BECKHAM is a london boy and and orient would suit him fine . you never know ????????????? . perhaps things are looking up team wise as well

the attendances would go through the roof aswell. Loads of women though. All there for Mr Beckham. Being male i cant see that being a problem. David buy us soon.

Cheers

Hold your Horses !

And please correct me if i'm wrong, but i dont think it was David Beckham himself that mentioned the possibility of an Orient takeover.

I think you'll find it was the Sunday Express themselves SUGGESTING that Orient would be the most viable option for Beckham.

Your spot on it was the express who hinted Orient would be the viable option for David Beckham,
Still its nice to dream aint it.

I'm sure he's also been reported as saying that the only job he would do to that would involve staying in football would be to be a clubs ambassador to help the club with their global image as it wouldnt be a day to day job and the club that was mentioned at the time was Manchester United.

Again that could just be a newspaper implying more than their reporting, Whats the old journalsim saying if the truth contradicts the story print the story.

Was supposed to have added rather than Beckham hinting to the Express that Orient was his only viable option.

David Beckham was here as a very young lad for a year and before we had a chance to offer him an extension Norwich City came in for him and he spent a year there before moving on to Tottenham's school of excellance half way through that year after scoring 4 corners in a match Manchester United made his dream come true and offered him a place in their youth academy.

Instead of making us an attractive package for David Beckham I think you well may have just given him every good reason to stay away from the club with the exception of the possibility of him getting Walthamstow Dog Track up and running again, Was a quality post though that made me chuckle.

Did anyone else read an interview with Hearn in The Daily Mail a good few months ago when he was talking about the Olympic Stadium?
He mentioned that a formal agreement had been reached that if we got the stadium we could cover the track with seating and that he would look at the possibility of bringing the likes of David Beckham into the team to increase attendancies.
I know its very much a pipe dream and he will be 4 / 5 years older but it still would be a good signing wouldnt it?

As long as he didn't do the matchday announcing, that would be fine. That said, how loaded is he? H£arn doesn't haev the will or the dosh to sustain us at Championship level, so why would Beckham lose money hand over fist for a club he doesn't actually give a toss about?
