P.S. Dempsey has been nothing but a brilliant servant to Leinster & Irish rugby. I won't have him discarded easily! He was fantastic yesterday -when he came on. Hungry as a Lion and involved in everything. Glad you feel the same way.

He looked very good alright, his usual reliable self under every high ball and he brought an extra attacking edge when he came on, not something that he's been historically known for but he obviously knows that his position for Ireland and Leinster isn't nailed down anymore and he's expanded his game. Great to see competition for positions!!

alright lads whats the story, havent been on here lately.

We got very lucky last night, we should be very happy at getting out of there with a draw, we were on the back foot for most of the game as i think most ppl expected with a relativly inexperienced pack, cant wait till cj and elsom arrive. i thought big dev did well alongside mal tho.

nacewa does look the part, i had only seen small clips of him before this game but he looks class. seriosly tough selection now for full back, girv did very well when he came on and we all know how good kearny is there. bod played fairly well i thought, putting in some good tackles and had one good break. horgan was again quite poor tho and really needs to up his game or else he should be dropped

I doubt Dempsey will ever be dropped, he's just one of the players who never lets you down and always produces the goods when needed. Even at the world cup he was the only player to play at their usual self.

He COULD be remember as an Irish legend, you wold hardly meet 1 irish fan who doesn't like him

i could be wrong but i think dempsey was dropped by the end of last year as kearney was starting (and deservedly so) fullback.

Naw,
Girv was our FB for all of last year. He had a fair time out with injury tho'. Fitzy and Kearney filled in ..

As far as I'm concerned - he still has 2 years of top level rugby left in him. And a massive amount of experience to boot .. You know what I mean...

To waste that ... would be criminal, imo.
