Who will take pole in Spa?

comment on the article

Thanks to the unpredictable weather in Spa qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix could get very interesting.

Nick Heidfeld came out on top for BMW Sauber in a damp and cold final practice session.

The German's time was actually the third quickest time of the weekend so far behind Ferrari duo Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen.

Ferrari are looking to press their title challenge in Spa and reel in Lewis Hamilton's six-point lead in the drivers' standings.

Massa looked in a class of his own in Friday's first session but question marks still hang over Raikkonen.

Your pole predictions would be super - and thoughts on the race ahead too.

A German? In an Italian car? On Pole? In the rain? At Monza?

When has that ever happened before?

Heh, well done Vettel, what a promising talent.

Kovalainen has got to be looking forward to tommorow though.

how embarrassing for Lewis and McLaren don't think they could pick better conditions considering they outperform the ferrari in the wet, don't think he'll admit to praying for rain if he could do..

Good lap from Massa at the end of q2. Today was a day for the lesser lights - bourdais, rosberg and particularly vettel showed how good they are when car performance is evened out - better than Hamilton, Kimi and Kubica.

As the many past comments stated, Massa is rubbish in the wet.
This qualifying session surely proved that but what of the 'young boy wonder' Lewis?
A fun race in prospect whatever the weather, but as the Pope is in Lourdes tomorrow it is sure to be dry.
Well done Ferrari.

I duno wat to hope for tomorrow it will be fun now even if its dry because we have raikkonen, hamilton, kubica and to an extent Massa out of position not to mention bordais and vettel hopefully it starts wet and dries out then we will have some fun with the result finishing:
Alonso
Kovalinen
Massa

Massa may we'll be rubbish in the wet - put him in a mclarenc in those conditions and he would have done a decent job. When it mattered he pulled out a last ditch lap to get him into q3 - if that makes him rubbish then what does that make kubica, kimi and particualarly hamilton.

Given what his engineer said looks like he's well fueled up too.

Formula One, laden with too many rules, this is what every race should have.... a random downpour.

Massa is not rubbish in the wet, it is the Ferrari that fails to get heat into its tyres in the wet conditions. Under the circumstances and considering he only had a few laps to get heat into the tyres and get himself into a groove he did a very respectable job to get the car 6th on the grid, much better than the other two title contenders.

today rain got heavier during the kimi and lewis (supposed to be their) faster laps. i think tomorrow will see a great race between the two. they have to drive fast in order to get felipe as soon as possible. i think lewis will be the faster.
sometime he does resemble mr ayrton to me.

o you think anyone will bother to watch the race knowing that if anyone but Ferrari win the winner will be disqualified or penalised?
