Will not be a manager, it will be a person playing Dennis Wise's players.

Who in their right mind will take that?

Anyone who does is not a manager and therefor anyone who decides to take that position is not worthy of it so will be hated!

I hate Wise and Ashley for what they have done to my team.

Which puppet will come in? A plastic manager!

kk wasnt naive. he brought us good entertaining football and didnt waste millions on players that turn out to be flops. plus he was so successful with us the first time as manager and as a player. your not a geordie, you dont understand

...

Exactly, no one other than a geordie can see it, does that not tell you something?! And hence why i asked for someone to explain.

I'll give you he played entertaining football, first time round i mean, but if he was more tactically astute, he would have won the league.

And as for the transfers, rumour has it he wanted to sign Lampard and Beckham, they would have made Shevchenko look like a good deal haha

There was a comment on these pages about the players that Newcastle had brought in over the summer being good. I'm a Newcastle fan and have watched these players who have all been good so far.

Everyone knows our defence has been poor, but Coloccini has been really solid. And Jonas (as he likes to be known) could be a decent replacement for Milner albeit on the left.

So maybe Wise & Jiminez's player scouting is pretty good. More realistic than Beckham, Henry, & Ronaldinho! Maybe Keegan was trying to play real-life FIFA 09 on his PS3!!

As regards new managers, maybe we should try and attract Tony Mowbray? My other half is a West Brom fan so we have seen quite a few of their games and Mowbray has transformed WBA into a good side that plays attractive football. They just don't have the quality of players that Newcastle have to succeed.

So he might get our boys playing the Keegan way and he might be tempted away from WBA with a club more likely to remain in the Premiership. It doesn't matter about not having European experience as we're not going to be in Europe for the near future.

I'd be happy if we got him.

No manager is going to want to take over at Newcastle all the time they arent in control of the team. Dennis Wise is an idiot and the Chairman is an even bigger idiot and im glad Keegan left. He was too good for ppl like them.

I cant help feeling that if Newcastle get Zola then Chelsea will have missed out on someone a bit special.
I have been a Chelsea fan all my life but if that happens I might just turn elsewhere.

Keegan was right to walk away, although his record since returning hasn't been that good, but again maybe that's been because of behind the scenes interference? You need to get rid of that we squinty eyed guy aswell as your 'no class' chairman, then you might start moving forward again? Fingers crossed he gets bought out by the Abu Dhabi mob.

I think that first and foremost Mike Ashley needs to pack up and sell the club as the newcastle fans will never forgive him for his treatment of KK.

However there are other reasons Ashley should leave. Firstly, even as a NUFC fan, i believe that it was wrong to bring back KK as he didnt bring him back for footballing reasons but to increase sales on the back of dreams of the glory days coming back. I love KK as much as the next fan but i love the club more and the club needed a top manager not someone who has been out of football for three-four years.

Secondly Ashley gives the club a bad image turning up to games in his replica shirt, drinking non-alcoholic beers and sitting with the fans for away games surrounded by bodyguards in replica tops. Those seats should be going to real fans and to the rest of the country he just looks like a joke.

Thirdly he claims that he wants to run the club as a business and be succesful but refuses to cough up the money to improve the team. Any football fan can tell you that money comes with success and that lackluster spending will only take you one place in this league and thats the championship.

On the subject of a new manager i feel that the club need to appoint a tried and tested European manager (once we've scrapped the Ashley and Wise). All the pundits say that newcastle have tried everything when it comes to managers but i can safely say that we have never once appointed a top foreign manager. In the past 16 years all our we have had one foreign coach, Ruud Gullit, who by no means counts as a top foreign coach (one good season at chelsea does not make you a top manager).
In light of my beliefs i would like to see the likes of Fatih Terim, Didier Deschamps or Frank Rijkaard to be made the next permanent manager of nufc.

Being how common it is becoming for Toon managers to leave not too long after being appointed, I think Shola Ameobi should be our next manager...

Just putting it our there.
