don't forget, in the promotion season derby were in a similar position to what they are in now albeit not on such a losing streak... there s still hope!!!!!!!

What!!!! Jack have you looked where Phil Brown is plying his trade at the moment!!!

Sorry that just doesn't cut it at all. PB was given an impossible task by the 3 amigos and thus sacked when he didn't deliver. However as he has proven with Hull he is a good manager and can get a team promoted from this division. IF and this is the important bit given time and backing.

You however seem to be advocating the same knee jerk reaction that got PB sacked.

Out of interest are you related to Billy Davis?

BD's motivational skills?
i seem to remember we werent doing very well in the prem BEFORE he went. if i'm not mistaken wasnt the team broken when PJ took over.
and as for "the one win"- well it was exactly that, ONLY one win and kennys goal (however cool it was) was, lets be honest, a bit of a freak.

BD on record has said that he wanted to see the PNE ribbons on the play off trophy NOT ours and he didnt get on with the board. do you REALLY want him back? despite the fact he wouldnt be able to work effectivly with so much bad history?

Guys Billy was a good manager and still is..he got us promoted with a load of tosh..PJ will get it right, although like a lot of people i have a small amount of time left for him.

Although i agree with you, this is clearly bias.
Jewell also made bad signings, Savage for example.

People also forget that Davies signed players like Pearson, Leacock, Moore, Fagan and Lupoli who all did a great in the championship. He then ruined it all by making signings like Andy Todd, Andrew Griffin, Eddie Lewis etc.

You missed the worst signing out of the lot though, Claude Davis for 3 million, unbelievable waste of money!

Howard and Oakley to add to the list of quality Billy Davies signings, like i say the players he signed pre season after promotion were all awful though.

yes both arent very good but davies was in charge for less games and has more points
