Carlsberg don't do 606 threads, but if they did, they would probably be the best 606 threads in the world.

Have a good weekend all.

Gio,

You mean You're a mug?not your.

YOU'RE ILLITERATE. Now go and talk to your little mates on MSN and play your Playstation.

Bye.

Sensible posters,

I think Comolli is a total joke, every time I see him I cringe we have employed him. I think he has bought a lot of average players, with maybe Bale and Berbatov being a success.

I truly believe Jol Identified key areas for address and they were ignored. We wanted a LM, DM and a DC (Experienced i.e Distin) and we got Bent. I think this speaks volumes.

However, perhaps the biggest mistake he has made was this window. Not bringing in a striker when clearly asked to do so should mean dismissal. If reports are believed he was trying for Doyle and Heskey. I think he is LUCKY he didnt bring these in, as us fans would have revolted. To lose Berbatov and sign a Kevin Doyle, it makes me angry to think that could have happened.

I really think Comolli is at the end of his tenure. Mark these words, Damien Comolli will have January to redeem himself, if not he will OUT.

TOKE YOUR A MUG
-----------------------------------------------

Gio, no, you're the tool for posting such a ridiculous comment at someone who knows and understands his football. You are clearly yet another fan who has been brainwashed by this current regime of Pinky and Perky (Levy and Comolli to you) and believe everything these clowns tell you.

Truth is that Comolli screwed up big time this summer window. And as a long standing season ticket holder, Iam now expected to 'believe' in this new strike force. Pathetic.

Toke/Spurcat, Modric's inteligent analysis seems to carry rather more weight than your passionate but frankly rather OTT comments.

You've decided, Spurcat, that Comolli was responsible for the striker farce. No doubt it is a farce, Bent is not good enough, and letting Defoe and Keane go was crazy, but there's been nothing official to say it was all down to Comolli. Don't you Ramos could have stopped it, had he wanted to? Wasn't Levy involved at all?

No, Comolli is only a scapegoat for shout now, think later fans like you two.

Zidane,

Modric said these were Comolli's signings?

Comolli signed Ghaly, Murphy, Bale, Rocha, Chimbonda, Malbranque, Berbatov, Zokora, Assou-Ekotto, Gilberto, Hutton, Woodgate, Gunter, Boateng, Kaboul, Bent.

Lets look at them shall we?

Hossam Ghaly, signed for 5m? Currently without a squad number and about to sign for Brum on loan? Total and utter failure.

Danny Murphy - Signed from Charlton for 3m? Released on a free after being a total failure.

Gareth Bale - No doubt a quality signing.

Ricardo Rocha - Cost 3m? Hasnt played in god knows how long. Failure and a panic buy.

Chimbonda - Anyone who says he was a good signins needs shooting. Made too many mistakes, always looked like falling over and had a terrible attitude. In my view a failure and deemed not good enough by Ramos too. I'd call that a failure as we signed Hutton last year to replace him. If he was a success, he would still be there.

Steed - Good signing, sad he left.

Berbatov - Great signins, but was it comolli's? Not sure, think Arnesen ID'd him.

Zokora - In comolli's eyes better than Carrick, thats why he was sold. Zokora cannot pass, cannot shoot and cannot tackle. He can run though. Sorry, failure. Not good enough.

Assou-Ekotto - Solid, but if he was that good why sign Bale and Gilberto. Not convinced about him. Would not call him a success yet.

Gilberto - Great debut, how many games has he played? Not many. Hardly a success. Poor signing that wasnt needed.

Hutton - Has done ok, not set the world alight. Lets wait and see.

Woodgate - Quality, but he was hardly scouted. Woodgate has been quality for years, no great gamble there.

Gunter - Looks good. Good signing.

Boateng / Kaboul - Nuff said. Poor poor poor.

Bent - 16.5m on a striker when we had Berba, Keane and Defoe? Hmmmmmm. We needed a LM, DC and DM, Jol said that. He was ignored and bent signed for big money. Not good enough, he is playing now by default. Would hardly call that a success, would you?

So not many out of that lot were a success were they?

And this summer? Jury is out on the players, and the striker situation was a farce.

He is on borrowed time.

"when we had Berba, Keane and Defoe?"

two of which have both jumped ship by their own choice ....good job we have bent I say ! with Hindsight selling Defoe was a mistake but hindsight is a wonderful thing and at the time selling Defoe made sense.

Is it too late to get Dennis Wise in? Toke's anaylisis of signings made by Comolli is pretty fair I'd say. The good signings weren't exactly pulled out of the hat, a result of amazing scouting they were already known.

Franky A had a poor record too, he just spread his net so wide and signed so many that there would have to be a couple of prize catches amongst the old wellies and shopping carts.

I don't know why we can't trust the manager and a proper scouting system?

Personally I think losing Frank Arnesen was a big mistake. Theres nothing we could have done as I think he went to Chelsea for the money.During his time we signed Jenas, Hudd, Lennon, Dawson, Carrick. I think he was only with us a season but we were signing players with great potential. I believe his job was to scout for younger players who will make it into the first team squad. He also had a good relationship with BMJ who I dearly loved. Now he is at Chelsea where they invest little in young talent and pay as much as possible for straight up first teamers. What is his role there now I wonder?
