Moyes would be mad to go to ToonPremier League Everton by Kcila (U1717420) 05 September 2008 As a supporter of neither Everton or Newcastle I very much hope that David Moyes sticks two fingers up to The Toon very quickly indeed. He would be stark raving bonkers to even consider going to Ashley's Asylum for Terminally Demented Zebras. He's done an amazing job at Everton because Bill Kenwright and the Toffee's Board have supported the two things that Newcastle simply don't understand. Continuity and Total Management. If and when the time is right for Moyes to move on it will be for a club with potential and ambition, neither of which are possessed by Ashley or his cronies at Newcastle. Latest comments

beamerboy36 (U1670319) posted Sep 5, 2008 Why would the league's third longest serving manager leave a steady job with prospects of European football most seasons go to the Loony Toon? He has his say over transfers and footballing decisions at Everton to an extent way beyond he would at Newcastle so there's no way, IMHO, that he will move

biggeordiedave - looking forward to some Fizzy Pop football next season! (Deluded) (U11282136) posted Sep 5, 2008 I wouldn't believe everything you read. Moyes won't come to the Toon for any amount of money in the world, it's just the media stirring. I seem to recall the BBC 'understanding' that Kevin Keegan had been sacked on monday just like it 'understands' David Moyes and Didier Deschamps are on the board's shortlist. It's a load of crap.

sconned (U7926289) posted Sep 5, 2008 As a supporter of neither EFC or NUFC I cannot see why anyone with an ounce of nouse would want to work for Ashley. I had my reservations when he took Wise to the Toon without Keegan's prior consultation. As Kev says, why should he have to mould other players he doesn't want into a system he's trying to create. And surprisingly, having watched the Toon in the early games, he was getting some results. A word to Mr.Ashley, you've lost a good manager there and your left with Dennis Wise. What's Dennis Wise's biggest contribution to the world outside of football ? Well, Blue Peter fans may remember the garden getting trashed in the late 70's early 80's. Another one. A couple of years back Mr Wise sent his minders into a fish shop in Slough to clear the way for him. They walked in heavy handed not knowing the queue consisted of a bunch of Scousers who were working on the railway down there. The minders started larging it pointing at Dennis saying, "Do you know who he is ?" The lads in the queue pointed at a certain Mr.Shea Neary and replied, "Yes, do you know who he is ?" They duely took their places at the back of the queue.
