The thought of Moyes rolling up at St James

Premier League Newcastle United
by Bertie Wooster (U3807711) 05 September 2008
comment on the article

It's both laughable and terrifying at the same time.

Laughable in the sense that it would be an obvious step down, terrifying in the sense that people appear to believe that he'd actually go there.

Newcastle want a mindless 'Yes' man. That ain't Davey.

No British manager would join Newcastle, except for Sam Allardyce (remember him), David Pleat, Alan Curbishley and the usual hangers-on who are too discredited to manage a decent club. Moyes will NOT join Newcastle, who are even a step down from Everton. Good luck to Keagan. True football fans will always support integrity over mediocrity and idiocy.

WBA fan in peace ... Dennis Wise goes against EVERYTHING Newcastle United stand for. He is a thug and was a cheat as a player, whilst Keegan at least tried to play football in the stylish way us fans are happy to pay to watch.

What do you mean a step down, definitely not, he's an extremely good manager has brought Everton a long way and until this Summer has achieved it without spending huge sums, I'd quite happily swap positions now with Everton, wouldn't you? That said, it's utterly irrelevant, no manager worth their salt would touch us with a bargepole now.
