Wolves fan in peace. Firstly, just want to say very pleased that Bullard has finally been called up to the England squad it's about time he got some recognition for the type of player that he is, in my opinion he is (behind Steven Gerrard) the most complete midfielder in the premier league, and hopefully he shines tomorrow (if he gets the chance!)

Quick question though, do you guys think he will be able to establish himself in the England squad, or do you think he will be pushed out again once Gerrard comes back, because in my opinion their playing style is too similar.

I think if he was to be played in the middle with Gerrard we'd just have the same problems as when Gerrard plays with Lampard. Can't see him starting this week if Lampard is fit either.

I actually think he is better than Lampard, I think he's a bit of a one trick pony

elcielo, good point. He plays with D. Murphy at Fulham and they are very similar, sometimes it looks good but on some occasions it looks one dimensional and quality MF's play around it.

It will as usual, depend on the game situ. One can assume that Jimmy B won't start. Should we be a goal down with say 20 mins to go. He would be worth a punt as his dead ball kicking from around the box is more subtle than either Gerrard or Lampard. He has to make the bench first though: and that is far from certain. Not sure if either Brown or Bentley (who were benched) were likely to feature on Sat.
