I can see Amir Khan Losing............

Breidis Prescott is a descent Puncher, he has flattened three undefeated Fighters...He isnt World class but neither is Khan yet.
I wouldnt be at all surprised if Amir Khan is beaten, even worth a little wager at the bookies!
Khan does have ALL the potential skills, but he has been down too much, too easily against much weaker opposition in my opinion.

He does remind me of Frank Bruno.....

Guys,

I want Khan to be tested badly, and I doubt still that he is up to it come the title champs, but he doesn't have a glass chin, he has a suspect temple, each puch where he went down it was high on the head, the temple. I think he's in for a shock tonight, and his chin will have to hold up, but it will be the first time his 'chin' has been tested, so far as we have seen.

Offensive does not do it, to be champ you need everything, and every time, and so far Khan is way off. Unless he beat a Romanov, a Casa etc...

The temple punch stunned him, the left to the Jaw KO'd him. If he took a knee and 8 count when the temple shot landed he would have cleared his head and recovered, the fact he stayed up when stunned and left himself open lead to the KO blow.

Call me unpatriotic but I am hoping that Prescott sparks Khan out and have put my money where my mouth is and put a small amount of earned cash on Prescott to win.

Why?

For some unknown reason he gets built up into some sort of British superhero after getting a Silver medal (not gold) at the Olympics all the while I don't see the same sort of hype around a winner such as James Degale. Up until his last fight I was right behind Khan but since he sold out his fans after numerous dodgy performance he thinks he has the right to expect £15 for the right to watch him fight. Fighting boarderline British title challengers and getting knocked down over again does not inspire me that he will hit the heights everybody seems to think he will. When he gets into the ring with even the like of Romanov I believe he doesn't stand much of a hope. Being knocked down by the likes of Willie Limond and Gomez does not inspire confidence. Fighting Diaz and Katzidis? Are you serious?

Warren realises how much like dense the British public are and will pay their cash like sheep. He knows he's got to make as much cash as quickly as possible before his "superstar" gets found out. And I think its a good chance this will happen this weekend.

How right was I. So pleased biggrin

Well, what can I say apart from:
Told you he didnt have a Chin, you can have ALL the talent in the World, if your chin cant take a shot, there is no point....
I'm sorry for comparing Amir to Frank Bruno, Bruno was a hell of a lot more durable.
So Mr Warren, thats why youve been taking your time, hiding him away from tough opponents...

I've said it all along as with many others on this site, the first opponent equal in size to Khan will test him. So far he has been fighting smaller guys with limited power and even they have hurt him. Khan blamed poor defence, now he has been proven to have a weak chin. There is no way back to a credible title as the top ten fighters will now know how easy it is to floor him. We will now here how young he is from Frank W and he can strengthen up, but the fact is he is growing into a bigger man meaning he will have to take punches from much stronger guys. Bye Bye Khan. Oh and Frank W. too. His main names, Khan, Macarinelli and Audley Harrison have all got glass jaws.

yesterday i said this:

I was going to write a similar article. I have a feeling this could be either be nothing but another win for Amir or in my opinion this columbian may cause damage to Khan. i can definately see Amir being knockdown again. Prescott has skill height and power and could well be too much for Khan. Look out for a shock defeat for Khan I somehow feel there definately could be an upset here. (if so everyone has to look at Frank Warrens face after...what a priceless picture that would be)!

I always had that feeling it was never Khan's night. Although i still say Khan is a very good prospect, he has to sort that chin out somehow and his defense. Khan's next 19 fights on sky boxoffice could be 19 domestic fighters.

How do you sort a Chin like that out?
If you can't Run, dont do the Marathon, Khan should go back to the Amateurs because he could be a great at that Level, with his head being protected he should really consider it.

I didn't pay for this abysmal bill but I managed to watch a stream on t'internet.

So glad I did. That Colombian has obviously got heavy hands but Khan's chin is still made of glass. he was stunned from a jab!!!

Certainly cheered me up no end after having the cheek to put this rubbish on PPV.

Well ThanksSirAlex.

I eat humble pie and your suspicion was right.
However, I did say in an earlier thread that, for me, the warning signs during the Limond fight always made me wonder just how far Khan's talent could take him. I always questioned those who said he shouldn't bother fighting Thaxton or Romanov because they are inferior yet were happy for him to keep facing truly inferior men like Lawton, Earl and Gomez who did absolutely nothing to help bring him on and help his development.

However, I really didn't think Warren was worried about Prescott and assumed it would be a case of a paper record ready to be destroyed by Khan. Rubio even recommended Prescott would you believe?!

The other thing we have to be aware of is that Prescott will probably lose to the first decent opponent he faces. That is deeply worrying for Khan.

Youre right, I also believe we wont hear to much of this Prescott in the future.
But what does this say about Khan? Can we believe he's good enough to become like Herol Graham and learn not to get hit?
Any boxer out there will be brimming with confidence whenever they face Khan, because they know, if they an take his punches, sooner or later he wont be able to take theirs.....
It's all over for me, Fight Hatton next year and beat him laugh
