Aren't we lucky to have Wenger?

comment on the article

Looking at the never-ending drama up at St. James Park doesn't make you appreciate having a great manager like Arsene Wenger even more?

Not only that we have such a great man, but the fact the club have allowed him the time & resources to be the manager he wants to be? Even during GG's reign we had stability. Infact, the club has always seem incredible stable and well run. I just hope this trend continues.

And also doesn't it make you wonder how we will react the day he does AW does stop being Arsenals manager? I'm not talking about how (if doesnt really apply, he WILL go one day!) and when he should go, but how we would respond?

Because you look at the Geordies up there all chanting in the rain at an empty stadium, singing things like 'sack the board,' when the only person who could actually sack the board would be Mike Ashley, the owner!

So yea, also makes me realise how our fans are a little different. I would not go as far as saying the Toon Army are deluded, but... I just don't think Gooners would react in such a way. Perhaps that is a bad thing though?

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are!

Arsene's a top manager. I have a lot of respect for what he's done, despite the fact the irritates the hell out of me. winkeye

When Wenger leaves, Im going home, gonna pick my cat up, have my tennis racket in one hand. I'll then serve the cat up and ace the barsteward right ove next doors fence.

Then I'll set fire to my Mrs hamster and p1ss ois burning head whilst whistling the tune to londons burning.

All in all I'll take it quite well, might be a bit upset, but quite well.

I just saw the video on Newcastle fans. Oh boy, they are the true fans. I dont think Gooners would ever do something like that.
Some arsenal fans want Arsenal to give in for a takeover. But when that happens, Wenger will walk out, some muppet will step in and when results are not going right he will get the boot. Then new muppet and the cycle is never ending.

We are lucky that we have him, and that is brought home just as much by what is happening at City as what is happening in Toon land.

We are lucky to have Wenger, but we are equally lucky to have the current board as well. The problems at Newcastle and West Ham start well above the manager.
