notrooney (U4402732) posted Sep 5, 2008 Jimmy's been playing fantastic since returning from injury and deserves to play. Can we still count Bocanegra as an international he left us in the summer and Eddie Johnson now on loan to Cardiff. Baird should have left us ~!!!

JHaynimo (U8307373) posted Sep 9, 2008 It would appear that RoyBoy still reckons Baird has something to offer: probably at centre back: or RoyBoy would have let him go. In his piece on the website: he (RoyBoy) reckons he now has the squad he wants having let 27 players go: many in his opinion: duplicated the same positions: especially in midfield: where many could not be given a game: this he said wasted a lot of the club's money: by inference he was pointing a finger at both Coleman and Sanchez. Presumably that is why Smertin has gone. Squadsize of 27 has allowed him to promote 2 youngsters: Brown and Milsom into the 1st team squad. Comment on this article |
