Bullard's chance to shine tomorrow

Premier League Fulham

I found this Fulham-centric story on the BBC site, highlighting that Bullard will be playing for the England team for the first time while Davies will be making his 58th appearance for the Wales squad.

I'm hopeful Bullard gets into the game, if not a start. The other central midfielders are: Jenas, Lampard, G Barry and Bentley. I doubt that Cappello will let sentimentality influence his selection (i.e. giving "good ol' Jimmy a chance"), but we can hope. Maybe he'll get a chance against Andorra once we're ahead 3-0.

Also playing in internationals: Dempsey, Bocanegra and Eddie Johnson are headed to Havanna, Cuba. I think Gera, Hangeland, Hughes and Baird will also be playing.

Jimmy's been playing fantastic since returning from injury and deserves to play. Can we still count Bocanegra as an international he left us in the summer and Eddie Johnson now on loan to Cardiff. Baird should have left us ~!!!

It would appear that RoyBoy still reckons Baird has something to offer: probably at centre back: or RoyBoy would have let him go. In his piece on the website: he (RoyBoy) reckons he now has the squad he wants having let 27 players go: many in his opinion: duplicated the same positions: especially in midfield: where many could not be given a game: this he said wasted a lot of the club's money: by inference he was pointing a finger at both Coleman and Sanchez. Presumably that is why Smertin has gone. Squadsize of 27 has allowed him to promote 2 youngsters: Brown and Milsom into the 1st team squad.
