Who could turn this team around?

Championship Derby County

This team are not fighters, battlers and players who will die for the cause of 3 points on a saturday afternoon. They are a small side (in stature) no real hardmen in defence / midfield or attack.

They need a leader, who will motivate them, instil the discipline that is often talked about but never delivered, make players more organised who can pass the ball at speed not on a training field.

They need to know that if they lose a lead without fighting, if they roll over and die, if they don;t chase every ball, then come 4.45 on a saturday afternoon when they get behind that locked dressing room door their lives won't be worth living, some china needs breaking.

We all have our opinions as to who should manage our great club, many believe that Paul should stay, i'm not 100% sure either way at the moment, i suppose it depends on how many previous managers were still paying for, BD probably PB too. I think i would make a decision depending on the results leading to our aniversary since our last league win. Then i would pick up the phone and ask the operator to get me - no not international rescue - Igor Stimac. He's the man, he his proud of this club, he would instill that pride into the players and get them organised.

If you could make the decision would you change, when would you change and who would you appoint ??

The other problem you have got, is that no team in the championship wants to be the first team to lose to you, so you are facing every team with greater determination not to lose against you! nobody wants to fall on the Derby bannana skin! so this is going to make a win seem insurmountable for your team, one hell of an uphill strugle, can't ever recall a situation like this before!winkeye

Josh da fox.
I assume you are a gangsta boy, right.
When you grow up a little come back here and try to have a reasoned conversation.
No that wont be possible will it, because you cannot change.
you are a prime example of everything that is wrong with our society.
Oh ,and by the way, your team are just a bunch of 3rd division losers.
Go argue with someone more befitting your stature.
Loser.

What has that got to do with the price of cheese? Phil has only said what is true, we will be waiting for you down the liberty, and we will up to extending your run, unless of course you win against sheff utd.

just getting bored with you mighty Swans....
Espescially Dragonjack.
He seems to spend his entire life here trying his utmost to be an ace hole.
I know Wales is boring, but can,t he go to a Max Boyce concert or something and stop living in the bodde past.

Can i ask you english why do you always get down to nationalities when discussing football, you english are always the same and always crowing on about 1966, perhaps you english would prefer to be just be referred to as 'you english' . When you come back don't use us being welsh in derogatory way, we are proud of who we are, are you english. Also you brought up the bodde issue again who is living in the part now?

My comment about wales was meant to be light hearted.
I did not refer to you as "you Welsh".
I also said nothing about 1966.
What I did say, and what I meant, was that since the Ferre Bodde saga. DragonPhilJack has been a constant and sometimes irritating visitor to our boards.
I know that not all Welsh people are like him, as, all English people do not bang on about 1966.
And jolly well done at Rourkes Drift.

I know that its just not all of us are like phil, and while i do have a dig at times i don't come out with the fact you are english, we are talking football and not the fact that us being welsh or you english has in any bearing. Also we have had a fare share of people on the swans board doing the same, not saying 2 wrongs make a right but if you dish it you should expect some back in return, also don't mean you yourself but in general.

Same to you mate, we have something in common, and that is a love of the game, best of luck am sure things will pick up, just don't know if it will with pj if you hit a year without a win, i just can't see him lasting. Do you think he will go soon?
