Dorn returns to Harlequins

comment on the article

Australian stand-off Luke Dorn will return to Harlequins for a second spell with the club in 2009 after signing a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old joins from Castleford after a season with Salford, who he signed for in 2007 after leaving Quins.

"I am really excited about coming back to London again after two years away," said Dorn.

What do you make of the signing?

I have got to be honest I am a little disappointed to see him go I agree he is a bit negative with his kicking game but he has been our main try scorer this year and we will miss his pace and step next season but who knbows Rangi Chase may have all these plus the ability to put others in as well fingers crossed.

Well arnt Your 6,7 and 9 supposed to be your most creative players on the pitch? Or am i abit too old skool? Its a reason why we've struggled at times relying on Sherwin too much up until he was injured he topped the try assists chart (He is 2nd now even without playing). Id sooner have too quality creative halfbacks and have classy finisher at FB. Personally id like someone like David Simmons at Cronulla at FB at Cas. Good try scorer still only 23 (i think) been played out of position at Cronulla in the centres and wing. Some reports suggest he might be out of favour soon how true they are i dont know. But from what ive seen of him he looks quick and a good player. Terry if your reading this get him signed up!

Dont disagree with that seagulf I think we have pulled a master stroke getting Hudson on board we now have a kicking game from 9 and good hands from dummy half he will create from the ruck next season.

We will have 2 creative halves next season but Full Back worries me still thing is who is out there ????

Castleford releasing Dorn and bringing in Hudson is a fantastic bit of business. I expect Cas to do well next year.

Dorn was at his best in London anyway. He can now help those impressive 'Quins youngsters develope further. It's an exciting time for Rugby League in London. They are second only to Leeds now for home grown talent making up a large percentage of their first-team squad! Who would have believed that 15 years ago?

No doubt the home grown talent has come on in abundance but where are the fans?
