Both the BBC site and the Sky sports site say that Alan Curbishley has resigned. I must say that I think that it is a great shame what happened to Alan.

What the hell is a transfer adviser?Joorabchian is a clueless fool who should stay clear of our club.

i agree having Joorabchian as transfer advisor, ( a person who cost the club over £ 6 million in fines and then has tried to sue west ham and he has even helped Sheff Utd against us ) is like having Bin Laden advise on world peace.

"A lot of these comments about Curbs going seem to miss the point that the reason he left was he DIDNT have a say in who was bought and sold. "

Missed the point, you have skipped a continent here. Irrespective of Koorabchian, Curbishley was isolated from transfers because of his staggering previous success, he was still running the team. How far underground do you want to be buried before you decide he is not the best to get value for money in the transfer market?

OK,

I understand that everyone is sad Curbs has gone but where was all this support on the message boards come from, when we all stating he had done a bad job no one jumped to his defence. The Press read these boards and report on the fans reaction. Before he was fired they reported on how much we didnt want him to stay. now he is gone, they are reporting on how upset we are.

Its life, move on.

Kia recommended Thiago Neves and Curbishley turned him down!

WHAT A CLOWN! NEVES IS IMMENSE!

Hopefully we'll get Mancini and PDC to rescue us!

I don't come on ere often but am not happy at all. I've supported the Hammers since I was a baby n can't believe we've lost another decent manager. This Kia bloke ain't got a clue, he babbles on. I can't stand him - He definitely needs to keep his mouth firmly shut. Like he said he didn't get really involved so why comment now about the team?? Cannot believe Curbs has resigned - I'm gutted - He was passionate and cared about the club - It's in his blood. We was 10th last season - He kept us up the season before - Plus we've been doing well this early on - WOT MORE DID WE WANT FROM CURBS N THE SQUAD?? Now we've lost him we're gonna go down I can see it happening and it saddens me greatly. Bet we end up with a FOREIGN manager - SOON FOOTBALL IN THIS COUNTRY WILL BE FOREIGN THROUGHOUT - WE'LL NOT BE BRITISH!!! COME ON FIFA N FA - SORT IT OUT.

What the composer of the Pink Panther theme tune and the Professional Darts Council as run by Barry Hearn???
Actually you are right, given what we have had before and what we have become it is what we need.

Personally Id go for Donadoni.

Curbishley leaving was the worst thing that could happen to West Ham. He came there and saved them from relegation when 3 months before the end of the season they were 10 points adrift of safety, then moved them up to mid table a year later. This season I thought they might even win something or break into the top 6.

If Zola takes over they should give him until the end of the season and keep him for longer if they win something or finish higher than they did last season.
