Errm...a bit late is it? with only 1 or 2 fights left for hatton.

Should have done this ages ago. Would have loved to have seen Hatton train with Freddie Roach for the past few years

All this signals to me is that Floyd Jr is still about somewhere. Otherwise, why not go for Roger Mayweather?

Apart from that, I think it's a very good move. Floyd Sr will teach Ricky about that all important thing called defense; or in Ricky's terms, Not getting smacked. Which, let's be honest is in diar straights.

I can only see hatton winning the Malanaggi fight by K.O. I think technically Malanaggi will just pick him off with the crisper shots. However, getting mayweather in the corner may go some way to stopping this from happening.

He couldnt have done this years ago because he wasnt a big enough name to pull in Mayweather.

What's with all this Hatton bashing, he's only lost 1 fight in his entire career and that was to one of the Sports greatest. I heard someone say he's only ever fought one elite fighter in his career and lost, he was huge under dog when he faced Kostya Tszyu who was p4p number 3 in the world sometime and performed something of a demolition job on him. Mayweather Sr is a good coach and will help Hatton to a late TKO against Paulie in a fight i'm confident he'll dominate.

You can make a pebble a diamond, just by polishing it for an hour.

I'm beginning to get rather fed up of my (comedy) jewels being removed.

Just been referred to as "a bit of a tool" by some 26 yr old with an unhealthy interest in the sex drive of male fighters all because I said Dwaine Chambers would give his right arm to be in the Paralympics.

I personally think that HILARIOUS.

Don't rate the Paralympics though...for a start you can never find anywhere to park near the venue....

Mayweather is a very good trainer but it makes no difference. Hatton is washed up. He will win at Light Welter as all the top guys are at Welter or going there. Even Manny Paq has jumped from light where he spent one fight to jump to welter/catchweight to fight de la hoya. Pac would beat Hatton - so would marquez and give amir another 6 fights and he'd box hatton's ears off. The abusing his body between fights has caught up with him. Its just that him, his dad and fans haven't realised yet.
