I certainly think it is the worst possible news to start a World Cup campaign with.Hopefully the Big Man will only miss the first game and will be back rarin' to go at Windsor.Having seen a wee bit of the Czech's I think they have a weakness to high balls about the six yard box.
The question is, who takes his place on Saturday?
Feeno,who never lets us down.
Paterson, who has scored 5 out of Burnleys 6 goals this season.
Any other options.
My team would be---

---------------Taylor.--------------------

--Evans.---Hughes.----Craigan.----McCartney.--

----------------Baird.----------------------

-----Davis.---Clingan.------Brunt.---------

--------Healy.--------Paterson.------------

I know Baird isn't everybodies third choice but I would play him in front of the back four only in away games. This gives cover to the defence and mid field allowing him to cover in mid field when we attack allowing Davis and/or Brunt to get forward in support of Healy and Paterson.
What does everyone else think.Keep it sensible and football related PLEASE.

The czechs are pretty handy with high alls into the box. Their defence are all big lads. To beat them a small nimble forward is needed

To beat them, you'll need a small nimble miracle worker.

What about Keef? I'm with you in that i'd give Paterson a go ahead of Feeno, who tries his hardest but I've never rated. I like your formation... but i'd play Davis where you have Brunt and Gillespie on the right wing. Brunt is too lazy for my liking and he needs to stop overhitting every corner and freekick.

healy83,agree in some respects.Lets face it KG is coming back from injury with little or no game time and he isn't getting any younger.
If it was a home game,Baird would be out and KG on the right wing.
The Davis/Clingan position is interchangeable.

Just think if Sammy played on the right wing we could all sing,
