I wonder whos next on west hams selling list? Ashton? Bellamy? Cole? and who the hell are we going to be left with?! we are going to end up the pub team of the prem at this rate!! Where are Sunderland getting all their money from?! They have bought so many average players this season for extortionate fees, I really thought Keaneo would be more sensible.

Can someone explain to me how a player we sold for 1million two seasons ago is now worth five times as much if not six? We seem to be forever signing players for more than they are worth!then selling them for less than we paid or even getting rid of them without ever playing them !! this is the economics of the mad house !!!

Sad to see him go, but the profit made on him makes it bearable. bought for 600K and sold for 6 million. The black cats have paid far too much for him though.

I can't believe that we've let McCartney go and kept that donkey Neil! In my opinion McCartney was one of our best players last season while Neil is just about the most overrated, overpaid (and some might say overweight!) full backs in the League. Why are we are so dazzled by players with big reputations and even bigger egos? (eg. Ljungberg - need I say more)

Keano has not bought some many average players as you put it mr feeling blue. I think he has brought players with proven premiership league exp. McCartney has always being a class player and I was really surprised he has come home!
