Not often I come on this site, However, I simply cannot beleive that any Rangers fan will not be delighted to get rid of this huge salary for a player that does not wish to be part of the SPL.

To get your cash back and more for a 31 year old that cannot make the team is great business.

Well done gers

If any Hull fans caught the old firm game on Sunday, they really did see the good and bad in Daniel Cousin. His goal really was top class but such a petulant player constantly picking up needless booking and fouls against. He'll not get you 25-30 goals a season, but he holds the ball up well, links midfield and attack excellently. Excells in the big games (For Rangers he done the business against Celtic, Lyon) although it remains to be seen wether he'll relish a trip Stoke or West Brom (no offense intended) in mid-December!

This could turn out to be a cracking piece of business for Hull although I'd like to know if Rangers got close to the 3mill that Fulham were willing to fork out for him in January?

Good luck Cousin

No one's really likely to get 25-30 goals a season in a relegation contending club (no offence) if he gets around 10 he's done well.

Glad to see the back of him although I wish we got the 3 million for him that Fulham were offering. I'll never forget the Semi Final last year at Hampden when you could tell he wasn't interested.

i just want to say im a dirhard rangers supporter season ticket holder for 7 years
cousin is a good striker when he wants to be
but if he dosnt like where he is he wont play
he did it with lens by not wanting to play infornt of the home fans and us because he wanted a move away and couldne get it so he went to the papers and told them about the drinking culture and so forth a mean you just dont do that kind of thing but if he is happy then he will score a few goals for you guys

His performance against Celtic proved that he is a quality player when he puts his mind to it. I would only add that it will only prove good business for Rangers if they can replace him with another player who is equally adept on the ball. He was pure skill but the others are probably right that if he was not prepared to give his all then he was a liability.

It will be interesting to see how he performs for a doomed club like Hull. I suspect he may lose interest in them as well if they fail to survive in the PL as expected. At his age it may turn out that he will regret his decision not to make a success of his Rangers career.

At least he has left us with a nice going away present. I will not forget his superb goal against Celtic.
